@jmsschooner - plenty of model shops scattered around Sydney and regional NSW, compared to the handful in Brisbane & Queensland. Get a copy of Australian Model Raiway Magazine from your newsagent, and check out the dealer index near the back.

You could get an accurate XPT from hanovale as a kit,m but not sure if its still avbailable, but theres meant to be a ready to run accurate XPT coming out in the near future.
