@NordenHonor I'll never get the Swedish nationalist fascination with Karl XII. His only impressive victory was at Narva, and other than that his defining achievement was chilling in the Ottoman Empire for a few years and losing at Poltava. I suppose that people really love his 'young and doomed' gimmick.

Meanwhile Sweden had kings that actually achieved pretty cool things like Gustav I, Gustav II Adolf or Karl X Gustav. Hell, fucking Karl XIV Johan achieved more than Karl XII.

@Storgud Charles XII defeated much larger armies without taking many casualties on a lot more occasions than just Narva. Many of our kings have gone to war to conquer and have been succesful but Charles XII spent half his life (and his entire adult life) to defend our country and he did fighting against those who attacked us. We were basically alone and surrounded by enemies, and still it took many years to break us and our enemies paid dearly for their victory.

They showed a banner revealing the album during one of their shows (their latest I think) and it showed Carolean soldiers and a number of Swedish flags in the background, you can find a picture of it on google. Also the name of their upcoming tour that coincides with the release of "Carolus Rex" is "Swedish Empire" tour. And of course it's awesome, it's Sabaton.
