we're supposed to believe that this is more than a redesigned iPod TOuch? lol, i've watched all the actual videos of it displaying 720p out to HDTV, the longest clip i've seen is 30 seconds... i wonder why? it's a gimmick. MS can't do anything honest. It will overheat and melt. So it's basically a iPod Touch with OLED screen, which is actually lower resolution than Touch or iPhone. I've seen iPod commercials longer than their little 30 second HD demo lol.

well I wish you great luck when you buy your overpriced apple products. Zune offers a lot more features than ipod touch. i think it will take over touch very quick. can't underestimate microsoft. personaly if i went to buy an mp3 player i would probably choose a zune. peace

the professor in my video class doesn't seem to think the human eye can detect a difference in 1080p vs 720p but he wears glasses. but i have 20/20 and see little difference between the two

I own an Iphone 3g, an Ipod touch(1gen) and a zune 80gb. And I can honestly tell you that the zune hd is one stunning device. I'm definitely gonna pick it up when its released. Hopefully they can add flash support before its released.

This is gonna be an awesome PMP. Now if only it was a phone. Microsoft should make a phone version. I think it would do better and be close competition w/ the iPhone. But it's only the first Zune HD so for a 1st version it's pretty damn sweet :)

No, I mean that they should make a phone based on the Zune HD. Or just the Zune HD with phone in it. Same hardware and software, just a phone added in. WinMo is their OS for smartphones. I think they may add Zune services to it like they did to the Xbox 360.

Now if someone can just talk MS into actually marketing the Zune instead of depending on word-of-mouth and fairy dust to let people know that it's FAR better than an iPod. That would be cool. I'm tired of seeing an entire aisle of iPod accessories while the stuff for Zune takes up like three-feet of space in the store.

LO fKn L seriously zune needs to market on prime time tv and music centric channels like MTV and VH1 because those POS displays at best buy simply aren't gonna cut it

and MS really needs to get aggressive with the pricing even to go as far as selling it at a loss for the first couple of years because if the xbox is any example this strategy can pay off if you know what your doing and lord knows MS can take the hit financially :)

Well, if the prices at Amazon are right, the 32gb would be like $279.99 which is cheap considering the iPod Touch's $400 price tag for the 32gb.

So I would suppose if they release a 64gb or something like that it could be like $350-400 which sounds KINDA reasonable.

Sorry about the shaking and unfocused camera, it was the lighting and I was trying to hide the fact that i was recording the UI, which i was not a loud to record. I saw the internet on the zune, but I am mad because the guy did not let me get any photos or video on it. He showed it to me one on one, so there was no way to hide getting pictures.
