@DaanB0201 No way after Frusciante left they lost their sound. He was a big part of their fusion they jammed together and recorded the sessions and wrote songs from that. Hope they include old tunes at the show just isn't RHCP if it isn't Frusciante.

@superreader999 The parting of Frusciante is just something you have to accept. You're completely right, his jams, influences and feeling for what he should add or leave out in his music is quite simply brilliant. I'm just saying that after hearing a few live shows with Josh (although I'm not impressed with his capabilty of soloing) I'm fully confident of a new era presenting a whole new sound. It can never become as it once was, but both the album and Josh are very good in my opinion :)

Personally been following them since the Party Plan and since Frusciante they have indeed evolved brilliantly, with different layering and ideas and jams which really created their signature sound. The only thing I'm saying is that I do like the way they are going now and the room Flea has been given now on the new record by Josh only subtly playing in most of the tracks is brilliantly done. I know they will blow my mind

@DaanB0201 Uhh. They are completely different without John. Their music lacks complexity. Every once in awhile you hear Flea do something cool on this album, but Klinghoffer is not contributing much to this album at all except mediocrity. Frusciante made 80 percent of their hits possible. This is not the Chili Peppers I love, and I have followed them since Mothers Milk.
