What i don't understand is why I'm looking on picture of battleship and a pier .
I will be more interested in Airport model, textures quality and airport vehicles, in correct road and cities layout according to map. advanced flight and realistic damage model.Operational weapon / radar system for military planes. I will welcome new engine which will allow more detailes on terrain mesh with canyons and forrest arreys and power lines, i.e. something useful in flight sim.

@powervr250 You are not reading everything on the site. They are appealing to a wider audience WHILE retaining the full fidelity simulation FS has always had.
NOTICE: as somebody who is involved in making the new Microsoft FLIGHT - we basically are going to make it as good or about as good as Flight Simulator 98', with more Boxy Square Objects and boxy/square planes with guages that look like something a 5 yr.old could draw, it'll be out soon tho- be sure to run out and get it, you think FSX was cool you ain't seen nothin yet !!
@jman036 yea i noticed but its only zoomed in and doesn't show the warehouse and other stuff and I wonder why they put something that is at least 3 months to the October screen shots when its suppose to look good
@FsimulatorX i think they want to compete with x-plane 10 cause its going to be out near christmas time but i don't think microsoft can compete with x-plane

@mboy3515 - Your crazy. I have both, and I have to say that X-Plane is a pain. No scenery files for airports unless you download them....I like to fly, but I enjoy my time on the ground and around airports also, and it was entirely disappointing.
FSX has its flaws, and I'm hoping that Flight takes care of that. But X-Plane has so far to go to be a really polished experience.

@121Saint thats because x-plane focuses more on making the game realistic and not the airports and its not hard to take a hour and make you own scenery
@mboy3515 - I don't know. The stock FSX planes aren't that realistic, but the payware ones are. The PMDG 737-800NGX is super realistic. FSX, REX 2.0, GEX and Ultimate Terrain plus the payware planes from PMDG, iFly, Leonardo etc. makes the game pretty damn realistic from startup at the gate to shut down at the destination. Add in FSPassengers, XPax, or FSCaptain and you have a true airline simulation. I'm not anti-XPlane, I have just seen both and was not impressed with XP-9.
@121Saint Agreed with you there ! You should try A2A Simulations, Captain Sim , CR1-Software , Carneado's aircraft altho the Dehavilland Bevaer DHC was fairly decent for an FSX Aircraft really.
@JetRanger0007 - The Dehavilland is a very nicely done prop plane. I just prefer to fly more commercial airliners (currently a Captain in the A320 in my virtual airline). I will definately check out those other other addons you mention.
