I bought the Ruckus for my 8 y/o. He wanted to go faster so we just installed a 17 turn motor, 5000mah battery and I had swapped the control to 2.4 I had laying around. Guys this turned out to be a little beast. Videos coming soon. Now he has much more run time and a faster Ruckus.

i bought the rukus about 4 mnths ago, its awesome, ive taken it threw creeks, mud rain, everything, i added a traxxas bumper tho, kept breakin stuff, its cheap, durable, and upgrades are DIRT CHEAP!!! Horizenhobbyi only broke one part, but 2 days of rain and $1.50 later, it was runnin like new!! speed is about 20 mph,it will pull about 25lbs. on wheels across carpet. oh, and the replacment parts are cheap!!! lol

I have a traxxas slash, 2wd and it's muck faster( up to 35 mph) it's water proof/ weather proof, and great for throwing dirt. If anything get the slash.

this truck will compete with the 500-600 dollar nitro trucks with the right upgrades, throw a 60MA speed controller, 8.5T brushless an 2 or 3 cell lipo with 5000MA an you got a beast of a truck. Out of the box i was highly disappointed with it, but the upgrades really made it a whole new truck. so start out with this out of the box, an as you want more, upgrade youll love it :)

Crystals are what sends out the radio signal. They vibarate at high rates to send a signal. And depending on the type of crystal and the rate at wich it vibarates, the signal is differrent as a result.

@BERTEDUS the battery is only a 1800ma so if you improved to like a 3600ma there would be a faair improvment, but id recomend a buggy if your only sort of looking at a starer, there are alot faster and and you get similar 4wd capabilities
