Ah this brings back great memories for me. I played this track over the Tannoy system in a Mosque when I was like 12 and I got my ass kick for doing it but it was such a great track! Everybody thought it was cool apart from the Mulla prick!
That's a great story, I wrote the lyrics to represent the strength of prayer in all religions throughout history, but for a 12 year old to upset the adults is far more exciting. Christian.
I loved this album. Went to see them at JB's Junction 10, Walsall on Superbowl night of 90 or 91. Nearly walked up the aisle on my wedding day to the instrumental on the album (can't be arsed to dig out the vinyl to see what it was called, Shakira Sun???) Good memories & they still sound great.
Brilliant Band, Saw them Supporting the Cult, then went to see them at the Venue in Edinburgh on their own tour, Tey were that good I painted their name on the back of my leather jacket!!! Also managed to get a massive poster of the Real Life singele, those were the days, Fucking great band!
Saw them 3 times myself even getting a Free Pass to the Astoria in London. Still got loads of Rare stuff. Hey Lord would be great on here! Talk to Christian Every now and then on Myspace!
trying to find a track called (i think) through the veil with an amazing bass riff. can anyone help?
