@35sixer Tom Sims doesn't get enough credit. All the Zboys rode for him at one point or another....Peralta rode the Sims Pure Juice wheels without financial compensation when he was on G&S. The other big wigs in the industry have told their own story and over shadowed his contribution.

I had to comment on this one...

TA is half Mexican (his dad's side) his mom is Anglo. The remarks about who's better TA or Jay are also plain stupid. Both guys rip. Can't judge such a subjective thing like skating (surfing, music, art, etc).

TA "didn't sell out" he made a living at skating and Jay has even said that if he had to do it all over he would of taken care of business.

I knew Tony and some of the other Dogtown guys in the 70s. I remember skating with him and a guy named Steve Drake. We did acid together in '74 or so. I'm glad he became so successful in life. I wish him the best.
