I'm actually fairly new to NHL, well, when it comes to ACTUALLY watching it. I grew up with it, but wasn't actually interested in it until this past Spring. Now I'm hooked, but I really only care about the Flyers. I mean, I like a couple other teams, but I'd much rather seem my HOME team win than another team. I only took Detroit in the SC Series cause it seemd reasonable. lol Everyone is entitled to have their favorites & non-favorites! :) lol

The Flyers just have to take it to Montreal more next game. I dunno, I was more disheartened that they let another game get away then felt like they got screwed completely over. Last ten minutes of the third the Flyers seemed to be doing a lot of dumping and very little chasing of the puck and even still they could have won that game/ If say Modry or Prospal were out there taking the draw instead of Carter.

The Flyers just have to take it to Montreal more next game. I dunno, I was more disheartened that they let another game get away then felt like they got screwed completely over. Last ten minutes of the third the Flyers seemed to be doing a lot of dumping and very little chasing of the puck and even still they could have won that game/ If say Modry or Prospal were out there taking the draw instead of Carter.
I want the Flyers to win (obviously) but they didn't play a great game either.

While the 2nd goal by MTL should have never counted (Lupul got the lead back just into the third). I really didn't have problem with that Richards penalty. The Flyers were doing just fine killing that and then Carter gets embarassed on the face off and it is in the net because Biron couldn't get his glove on it.
If the Flyers lost that game only because of the refs, then wow refs seemingly have ruined every game ever. The Flyers lost game 1 to the Caps too. Series isn't over. Go Flyers.

If the Habs buried even half of their empty-net chances, it would have been a blowout. Let's hope the Flyers also think they played fine and continue to play this way. Kneeing, tripping, it prevented Kovalev from doint what he kneeded to do. Rules are rules and the ref's made the right call there. Richards was just trying to save himself from getting embarrassed by Kovalev. It wasprobably a good play at the time because Kovalev was on his way in on goal, but watch the replay before you make a comment.There's no use in crying over spilt milk, obviously you don't know the rules and think that every suspension that Philly had this year shouldn't have been.
