  • Im sorry im not a comment leaving person but to the people who are saying that the hood and steering wheel isnt right you guys really have no idea what you are talking about this car is absolutely all correct right down the factory " dome" hood. know what you are talking about before you leave comments like this because seriously you just looked really stupid to a person who truly knows what he is talking about. so know the difference between a head and a header before you open your mouth

  • hey jeff if ya ever need a day off let me know id be glad to cover for ya

  • my friend has a 70 with a 402 its a number car

  • The year I was born.

    And what a great year.

  • REAL 72 454s are EASY to differentiate from other 72s. 72 was the first year for Federal VIN tags on the dash. ONLY the 454s were "W" codes. And in 72 454s were only offered with the SS package so yes ALL true 72 454 cars were SS cars. If that IS a "W" code car it's a true 454SS, if not it could be any assortment of 72 Chevelle's/Malibu's dolled up to make a "clone".

  • Hi Red, yes it was a "W" code true SS...

    Thanks!

  • Beautiful 72 Chevelle SS...Mine is a SS 350 clone from a 72 Malibu..lot's of people don't realize you could get an SS 350 Chevelle in 71-72...i think even a 307, but i haven't seen one..I've had my share of Chevelles...they rock..

  • Thanks! You are correct. They even made 307 SS models. The 454's were quite rare.

  • Great car, great sound and very nice commentary.

Also that background song goes with it perfectly.."I'm the one who wants to be with you, waiting on the line just to be the next to be with you."

  • Thanks a lot. I love doing the Vids whenever I get a few minutes. Although I screwed up calling the console a dash! Whoops!

  • "smells like victory", you said? damm right !

  • Yeah Buddy!!!

  • The 71/72 SS are really growing on me! I never used to like the revised front end treatment but It looks good now! Plus a lot less common than 69/70's which is nice.

  • Yes, it's kinda Cool to be different if you do it right!

  • it's hard to believe that if u got a flat tire you had to use a bumper jack. Those things were not safe at all and a many cars fell down while they were being used.

  • Yes, I remember...

  • "when it was born"-spoken like a true gear head!

  • Nice Sound! It hurts my ears, i had to turn down my volume haha!
