Some even say hes a Mick Jagger clone I think hes got his own style he sang a different type of rock music and he had a different type of sex appeal. They're all similar definately not the same. Rockstars are Rockstars it's not really surprising some are similar and Hutch's sex appeal was better than Jagger's but I dont know if he beats out Morrison I'll have to ponder that 1 a lil more

@ "Morrison Wannabe" Michael performed 20 years. Jim M. by time he was signed by a major label in 1967 he performed 5 yrs. Micahael has energy & charisma. Watch Elegantly Wasted. Do you think Jim moved like that? INXS from Australia & I know we Americans think our culture is the center of the universe but the Doors was not big down under. Credit Oliver Stone's Biopic for the popularity of Jim which people think they are experts on the Doors just because they watched the movie.

I'm Aussie and I can admit that Hutchence in some sort of way is a Morrison clone. No doubt Hutchence has charisma, but Jimmy was the ultimate lead singer and showman.

U2 signed in 1980 in Ireland. INXS came together in 1977 in Australia. Both are great but I would never agree that one influenced the other. But my original comment is to say now I can understand why all those gilrs were crying in the audience when the Beatles performed. I would swoon myself. I Love You Michael! My son got a harmica for Christmas...it would take forever to sound that awesome.

The song is about Blones in general but more specially is about Kylie Minogue, Micheal's GF at that time of writing credits. Or at least inspired from her. Don't confuse this with Michael's crying for help. He didn't committed suicide as reported earlier in his passing days. His unfortunate death was a result of autoerotic asphyxia.

Hutchence was undoubtedly the Face of INXS and the one that most People identified with, but INXS was about the whole Group, not just him. Its sad that he's gone, but I personally don't think that it automatically means that the others shouldn't carry on. Its another great way of introducing their Music to new Fans, and to keep Hutchence's memory alive.
