From a Celtic Fan Zero was one of the greatest strikers to grace the SPL along with Larsson, Ally McCoist, Bobby Lennox, Kenny Dalglish and i could go on!
youtube's a fucking joke this is a tribute vid to a great wee player who served us well, and what does this commercial piece of shit do?? disable the god damn sound, get it together google for crying out loud . . .
that said, great wee servant for our club and probably the most gifted of players aberdeen has ever had . . .
R.I.P. Hicham Zerouali . . . gone but in no way forgotten
im gobsmacked and very sad- i had no idea zero was dead,he was always a great player for aberdeen esp against my team celtic-im gutted for hitchams family and friends-i have just found out today 27/072010, im so sorry god bless and keep zero-ynwa-joe-celtic fan from glasgow
this is what dons players are lacking right now(there nae that bad) but you know that little bit of magic that could change a game. Sone aluko is a bit like that but nae so much.
What a player, absolutely phenomenal. I was absolutely gutted when i heard of his untimely passing. Legend and genius sum Zero up. Sadly missed, never forgotten
always great to watch, pure class player. i went out a run one night and ran past pitoddrie to see a picture of him surrounded by lit candles in an alcove of the groud with non one about.......strage as fuck never forget it and i'll never forget him RIP you crazy diamond
R.I.P Zero 4 years ago and always remembered. got a scarf tht has is name on it so will be weared and ever home game in december. One Legend always a legend. R.I.P
im only 15 but remember his goal against hibs when he ran the length of the park and scored in the 90th minute. will remember this for the rest of my life, even thinking about this brings a tear to my eye:(
You will always be my favourite dons player Hicham. At a time when we were struggling as a team, you lit up so many of my saturday afternoons and wednesday evenings. I will never forget the Hibs goal in the 90th minute. Sheer class *;O)
To all Hicham's family back in Morocco, Aberdeen will never forget what a star Zero was and his legend will always live strong in Scotland.
Will always remember him single handedly dragging his teammates through against St Mirren in the Scottish Cup (and eventually all the way to the final). RIP.
I still wear my '0' top to games. I got 'HERO' as the name on the back of my shirt about 3 mths after you joined.......cos that's wot you were mate - a 'Hero' to all us sheepos!!!
I bumped into Zero at Heathrow (he was on his way home for an international I think) and decided to approach him to say "fit like". He came across as a very humble young man, took the time to share a few words with a total stranger (me) with no hint of primadonna whatsoever.
Talented boy, sadly didn't get the chance to fulfil his potential at AFC due to our piss poor team of that era. RIP Zero
he was ultimately ace- i remember it was 0-0 against hibs at 88 mins, and he scored a breakaway goal when the keeper was up at a corner to make it 2-0 before the end, and i was very happy
STAND FREE (ps, i was about seven when this happened)
i'm a morrocan, from rabat, the city were hicham was born. he grew up in slums, and his familly was very poor. but thanks to he's talent he became one of the most prefered players in FAR Rabat, his last club. the day before he died, he scored twice. he was loved by all supporters and poor people because he was very generous, and he has never forgot his origin. now, years after his crash, we still sing his name in all games. and i must admit that i'm not surprised that you have not forget him,
Really nice to see something like this posted. Despite what my profile says I am actually 18, so to lose a player from my generation so soon is a tragic event to say the least. I remember being in the Merkland stand seeing Zero dribble the ball all the way from our box into the empty goal when the Hibs keeper came up for a last minute corner. Sheer class, we will remember Zero.
