They were married for 13-14yrs, but they had been a COUPLE for over 20yrs (and they were both on drugs during the HIGHT OF HER CAREER, and she was still successful), but no one ever blamed him when things were going good...But, as soon as times got bad & her drug use began to affect her career, #Every1PointedTheirFingers@BOBBY(Not Fair All)!!!
There was plenty of allegations that he is/was the cause of her beginning to use drugs during their time together. Even when she was still making music the drug use was taking a toll on her body, it was very noticable. So, yes, there was blame on him during what may be assumed to be the height of her career.
I personally blame both of them, she was with him for 20 years and at any point she could have turned away from him and the drugs once she found out.
I don't use drugs, never have and never will, so my sympathy can go only so far when someone (famous or not) dies of prolonged use of drugs or of an overdose.
People have a choice in that matter, if they don't want to do it, walk out the door. If the person you walk out on cares more about the drugs than you, then they will not follow. But you don't have to follow them either. The one I do feel sorry for is the daughter, knowing the reason for her mom's death is drugs. SAD.

@Cynbad63 Easy to say when you dont have access and infulence to the degree to which she had. To make such a statement just shows that you really have no experience with addiction I used to counsel teens and its never as easy as just walk out so your comments are uneducated in my opinion
I am very proud to say that I never had access or influence (Thank God!!!) I have taught my son the same values that I have regarding drugs. As a teenager I was exposed to my peers doing drugs, and yes, no matter how many times they said, "come on cyn, just one hit, it wont kill ya", I did decline and walk away.
Using peer pressure is just an excuse. Just like when a murderer uses the excuse of a bad childhood for killing a classroom full of little children.

I'm, not one to judge, but Bobby makes himself look suspecous. This death which is a heatbreaking passing, R.I.P. Witney, only makes things worse and it makes people wonder is it or is it not foul play on his part. But I'll leave that up to God to decide.

They were married for 13-14yrs, but they had been a COUPLE for over 20yrs (and they were both on drugs during the HIGHT OF HER CAREER, and she was still successful), but no one ever blamed him when things were going good...But, as soon as times got bad & her drug use began to affect her career, #Every1PointedTheirFingers@BOBBY(Not Fair All)!!!

There was plenty of allegations that he is/was the cause of her beginning to use drugs during their time together. Even when she was still making music the drug use was taking a toll on her body, it was very noticable. So, yes, there was blame on him during what may be assumed to be the height of her career.
I personally blame both of them, she was with him for 20 years and at any point she could have turned away from him and the drugs once she found out.

I don't use drugs, never have and never will, so my sympathy can go only so far when someone (famous or not) dies of prolonged use of drugs or of an overdose.
People have a choice in that matter, if they don't want to do it, walk out the door. If the person you walk out on cares more about the drugs than you, then they will not follow. But you don't have to follow them either. The one I do feel sorry for is the daughter, knowing the reason for her mom's death is drugs. SAD.

I am very proud to say that I never had access or influence (Thank God!!!) I have taught my son the same values that I have regarding drugs. As a teenager I was exposed to my peers doing drugs, and yes, no matter how many times they said, "come on cyn, just one hit, it wont kill ya", I did decline and walk away.
Using peer pressure is just an excuse. Just like when a murderer uses the excuse of a bad childhood for killing a classroom full of little children.

I do care about the innocents that are subjected to witness the devastation that can be the result of it. You tend to forget that this is a public forum, for people of all walks of life and ideals to comment on the subject at hand. I will say this: to me, it sounds like you are defending the drug user, or are you speaking from experience, not just from taking phone calls (anybody can do that). The only people that can ever be effective in a successful call is someone who thinks that taking drugs is a sign of weakness & coward's way of dealing with life.
