  • yar

  • muy bien! muy buena madre! : )

  • You said you're sorry you didn't start sooner. Whoa! I think that whatever you've started already, when both you and your son are this young, is going to instill so much in him, even if you feel you 'could' have done something earlier. Merry Christmas!

  • Wow! You're awesome! You make a hell of a first impression. I like your additude towards life and your son.

  • Aw, thanks so much, Sugartalker. That means a lot to me. :)

    <3

  • Your son is lucky to have you! He's already a great, handsome, strong, intelligent, great kid and I know he will go far in life. I don't think I decided what I really wanted to do until I was 16 so he has some time yet! With a mother like you there's no way he won't be great!

  • That's my heart, Tiffany. *beams* Thank you for that beautiful sentiment. It really does mean a lot. He's got to be one of the best people to grace the face of this planet. I'm so blessed by him. I'M the lucky one.

  • Ann we are one in the same!! We have the same dreams which lead me to you but then I always found out they kind of person you were, not just the talent but the beauty and the kindness and strength and it's who I want to be. You inspire me and I am motivated by you.

  • ann... i have decided... YOU ROCK!!! i enjoy your videos a lot. i like your personality etc... but this takes the cake. you are a super mom. im being sincere. take care. thanks for the encouragement. -addison ps ill show the wifey later.

  • A true artist and actor at heart. I am touched by your sheer will of determination to succeed in this field. I want to share mantra or thought with you it's from an old 18th Century Philosopher by the name of Denis Diderat. "Only passions, great passions can elevate the soul to do great things." Again, I thank you for your wonderful thoughts in how its important to pursuing your dreams. I want to also add, your son is very blessed to have a mom like you. Cheers and many successes to you.

  • Ann, I need to tell you something, it crosses my mind when I see you or your work. That thought is that you have such a presence and genuineness (that a word??) so strong, it carries through on a video clip!! Incredible, you are amazing Ann, you impress me. I'm proud just to know your name.

    Jon

  • What a wonderful sentiment, Jon. Thank you so much for taking the time to express your thoughts. I'm grateful and a bit humbled by your comment. :) Really... thank you.

  • ann my friend this is your best video.i started late as well. i hope not too late. love to sing never did cause i was scared i guess even though i knew i could...and my son who is five can sing right along with me its amazing...sang him a lullabye last night i add libbed and he went to sleep with a smile on his face and I will be turing that into a song in a few days when I get some free time entitled thank you lord.

you have yet to really live until you bring a life into this world.

  • That is awesome. To see your son fall asleep with a smile on his face after singing to him? Very cool. :) And even cooler you take the time.

  • I no how you feel being a mother is such a gift.

  • You have a beautiful heart:) Bless you and your son!

    kisses

    Sarah

  • Thank you, Sarah. It's easy with a son like mine. Any mother can say that but sometimes I wonder how he could be mine! :D

  • i think you are a lovely mother ;-)

  • Aw, thank you, Joss for your wonderful comments here. :) *beams*

  • you are very very beautiful!!!! like all your videos!!

  • Your son is very lucky to to have you. That blood scene from the film looks amazing, noo wait, looks incredible.

  • Thank you so much! There are photos of the process in the link in the description, too. :)

  • Ann, are you related to David Spade, because that would work really well on your resume. You can also do an online resume with imdb dot com. Thank you for all the comments on my vids.

  • LOL! Hm. Perhaps in some weird way I am! Yeah. No. :) But I am a big fan. He cracks me up! Thank you so much for the word on imdb. They are my #1 resource for film, too. I didn't realize you can post a resume out there. Very nice! Thank you!

  • We share dreams.

    Please visit my channel, euromovie86.

    We all love filming!

  • I posted a response to her. I wonder what doing it means. All I know is that you in this moment are mentoring me in something I fully don't understand.

  • And I'm just blindly doing it. Putting out the video, and fast tracking it ahead of all the oher videos I'm working to get it out first. I'm feeling that once whatever is oing to happen with this, I'll be more than thanking you in the end with awesome gratefulness.

  • i cant sing.....i cant dance....i cant act.....i cant perform sports at a professional athlete level, but someday...i WILL change this world. Some day i will be known and i will make a difference.---Im 16, and i could be at the top of my class. I slack at school yet i am still number 3 in my class...Lazy? i was, but now i see....That i can make a change...And someday, i will change this world.......

  • well everyone has talents and when you get older (I'm seventeen hehe:P) you learn more.

  • haha I love actting ;P

  • Alex is so lucky to have you as a mom. With you around, no doubt he will one day do what he's always dreamed of.

And it's never to late for you. Look at what you've accomplished so far.

When is Embryo coming out by the way? Hopefully I'll find some way to see it.

  • Aw, thanks, Stoochie! Embryo is an independent film short. It was shown at the Phoenix Film Festival, the Comicon Festival, and will be shown this fall at the Phoenix Horror Sci-Fi Film Fest. I have a copy of it on DVD. He's out of copies but I sent him a msg asking how people can see a copy. :)

  • Amen and Amen. Beautiful words of wisdom!

  • This video is really moving and inspiring. Almost brought me to tears. Commenting again because I've watched this about 10 times! :) 5 stars. :)

  • wow your really switched on! what a great mom, keep it up! XxX

  • Just remember that... everything happen for a reason, be patient, happiness is not by chance but by choice...

  • Well here you got yourself a new fan and friend from NYC

I just found out a few month ago what I really love to do which is SALES and now I'm working for CHANEL I think it is a really good place to start doing what I like.

As a matter of fact you reminded me the movie 'The Pursuit of Happiness'.

The best of the luck with everything.

  • Hello again, I would dare to say that you are a truly lovely person. The way that you speak and think is really good not only because it shows the kind of person and mother that you are, also because you are the mirror for your son you are the person that he need to see as a inspiration and I think that if you keep thinking in that way you will do perfect.

  • You sound a reasonably smart Princess. I can respect that..you're not me but who is?

  • wow, your a great mom. i wanna do indie films too! how did you get into that?

  • what a mom!

  • Thank you, your an inspiration!

  • You are so right. There has to be a supportive system.I feel the very same way about my daughter.

  • Thank you annspade for sharing your dreams and aspirations for you and your son. It brought tears to my eyes when you were talking about what you want for your son. You have inspired me to pursue my dream to write music, play piano and sing again!

  • Hi, Jsamia555! Thank you for your wonderful comment. :)

  • vear nice

  • I watch more Independent Flims than anything. I love them! I'd like to watch the film you're in. Do you know if it is available on Netflix?

  • Hey! I think it's cool you dig indie films. :) This is a short so I don't think it'll be available on a venue such as Netflix.

  • Oh and I forgot to mention that your son is A-Dorable!

  • Aw, thanks!! :) *beaming*

  • awesome video

  • She is pretty hot though!!

  • If you are as bored as me, and want to chat.. I'm on MSN: KReeder01@ hotmail. com

  • God bless

  • Bless your heart and keep up the struggle, If you do what you love and take care of the young ones, nothing is more important. Heads Up !!! You don't have to be paid for what you love to do, It makes you happy, that will be apart of your family as well :-)

  • n1pod man thats just plain rude guy shes a mom man how disrespectful is that

  • ??? and your point is?????

  • what do you think? can u read?

  • so your saying??? lol

  • what do you think im saying? and dont say you dont know cuz you do cuz u said so, im saying thats no way to talk to a person and if your damn childesh mind can understand that then just hush up and go btoher some one else

  • Wow. You're really inspiring. That brought a smile to my face, and a bit of hope to me for my future. Thank you so much for posting that, it means more than you can possibly know. Your son has an excellent role model to look up to. I know that when I have children I want to do for them what you're doing for your own child. Thanks again.

    ~H

  • a song came into my head what i saw this video "i wanna fuck you, and you already know ~ girl." LOL...no offense but you are very hot ^^

  • this video is a true inspiration. just like the person who made it!

    ;)

  • Ann, your beautiful, strong, confident, and your son will obviously have a wonderful role model. Thanks for inpsiring me with my own son.

  • Hi, jak51463, thank you so much for your comment. It's a refreshing change when I read positive feedback. And how awesome to know the vid helped inspire you with your own son. That just rocks. :)

  • Proud of you. I know what you are talking about. I have a 5 year old and I'm going to back him up in everything he wants to do. I don't remember one time being backed up by my parents whom were never there for me. I don't want to be like them

  • Hey, fixxxer602, thank you! Your child is blessed then. :) Hm... maybe it's *because* of your personal experiences! (I look for silver linings to keep my life golden!)

  • (continued)

man and dont mind any of these retards out their who bash you eh mindless fools who are to busy looking to start conflict on the internet because they have nothing else better to do

    good day

    habs

  • I appreciate that. :) My son really loved the video and hugged me for it. None of the "hater" comments can break that. Not one.

  • I totally resonate with your comments about wanting your son to be able to pursue a dream and not to start too late. Perhaps it is with age that we realize these things but I, too, wished I had started earlier. Problem is, when I was younger I didn't know what to start :) I hope your passion for you own endevours continue and that you can serve as an inspiration to your son and others!

  • When I was younger, though I may have known what I dreamed of doing, I didn't know how or where to start. You're right, it might be that as we get older we do realize these things. I appreciate the good wishes and your positive feedback, tsauder. :)

  • This reminds me of those peanuts movies where Charlie Brown would be in class and the teacher all you heard was "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah"

  • So by your logic then, I'd be the teacher and you'd be the peanut.

  • Correct, and logic tells (from contrast and comparison) that the teacher had nothing to say that was worth listening to, hence the monotonous drawl and nothing further. ;)

  • Correction... the teacher had something to say but as most kids do, they tuned her out.

  • Who wants to listen to euro-centric mindless psycho-babble? That's the point Schultz was making. I'm sure if you got up here and danced you'd get a lot more attention; seeing as looks take people practically anywhere, you might have a good life in show business after all. And blah blah blah to all you ass kissing men on this site. Give me break. There's a reason this chick is a single mom.

  • You made an assumption. The question asked what MY dream was, not what mine, my husband's... or anyone else's dreams were so I spoke for myself. Schultz was clever and successful. And thank you for the compliment.

  • Actually, UNSUNGBAND, Schultz wanted "Peanuts" to be about the kids; and in a children's world, adults are nothing but featureless figures. See, when young Schultz was in school, he often loses himself in his drawings. And the only thing he'd hear from his teachers were "blah, blah, blah". Not that the teachers didn't have anything important to say - just that it wasn't important to the kids. Nothing more. Nothing less. Sorry to break that to ya.

Your friend - ass kissing man

  • arlight all i gotta say is YOU GO WOMAN DAMNN im a 17 year old boy who has given you mass amount of respect and your not saying your a star your just saying what youve acomplished and by far you have the right to say it and im a son my self and i love both my parents to death and my lil bro and have the ut most respect for you for raising a child and being in bands and doing independent films so horray for you

  • It's awesome you love your parents like that... very cool to hear. (Let's hope my son feels the same when he's your age.) :) I think it's cool you have an appreciation for what I was trying to convey and you took the time to say so. Thank you!

  • lol @ kellykinsel

  • Yet another delusional moron who thinks she is a star.

You have no idea how pathetic you are to post such a video.

  • I am by no stretch of the imagination a star and never claimed to be. Performing on stage and participating in independent film means just that... I performed on stage and was part of indie film. I'm not to blame for your conclusions. You have no idea how pathetic you are to post such a comment.

  • Who is the pathetic one hear...sorry to break it to ya Kel...it's you. You see for some reason you are taking the time to visit this blog and check out the vids...jealousy creates the morons...just keeping it REAL. Rock on Ann Spade...Rock On.

  • You seem like pretty nice mom!!!! and in the other hand... you are HOT!!!!!!!!!

  • What an awesome mom! This kid will have a great foundation. I am raising my kids to pursue their dreams as well.

  • like u babe

  • wow that was inspirational thank you

  • That's touching. = ) I wish my mom cared a bit more about my dreams.. oh well..

  • You are exactly to my friend Mimy XD ^^ It's funny

    :) :D XD

  • Hey guys, Check out my new videos, I need more subscribers also anyways enjoy the videos, they're all pretty funny lol.

  • just kinda wondering...uhh...why is it important to any of US (viewers of this video) to know that you're the support system of your son? ...yes, it's important for everyone to have someone supporting them when they're trying to achieve their goal but...i honestly dont see a point to your lil' video of how you're the support system...

  • It's not important to anyone else. It doesn't have to be. Pity you don't see the point when it was clear.

  • wow, your'e really into yourself. i watched the whole video because your beautiful

  • It's your JOB to be your son's support system - why are you making it sound like you're going above and beyond? Only a shitty parent WOULDN'T want to be that for their child.

  • I know a lot of shitty parents.

  • Yea, that's true enough I suppose =/

I guess I'm lucky... my mom was/is an amazing mother, parent, and friend.

Just rubbed me the wrong way that people feel the need to say that they want to be a good parent, as if to validate it - because it reminds me of how many people, well, aren't.

  • I chose to post a video in response to a direct question. I certainly don't need anyone's approval to validate my choices. And yes... you are lucky.

  • Your son is LUCKY so are MY KIDS. This vidio should be GIVIN to ALL NEW PARENTS. Kids NEED PARENTAL SUPPORT. People say " You can't be friends with your kids, you are THE PARENT! " I AM FRIENDS with MY KIDS, they ALL ARE FINE AND GREAT PEOPLE. I TEACH THEM POSTIVENESS and show them RESPECT. With that their DREAMS DO COME TRUE. My two oldest daughters DREAMS came true and I'm supporting my three youngest. My lives dream all I wanted from my life was A CHILD and I have FIVE :0)

  • Hey, 247365mom... your kids are very lucky. :) Thank you for your positive feedback. I agree, you can certainly be friends with your kids. It's tough to have to draw the line, too, but necessary.

  • 247365 mom...you Rock and I knew that by your user name...you get it...and you got the message in the vid loud and clear...K.I.R keep it real

  • Thanks for all of your wonderful comments, Chris. And for the support. :) I'm sorry I missed you in NY while we were there, too! Next time!! :)

  • chrisnyc12 Thank You! :0) You Rock Too! I LOVE what you wrote for your profile this world NEEDS MORE PEOPLE IN IT LIKE YOU! I understand your REAL comment too it is SO TRUE. ANN KEEP ROCKIN YOU'RE ON THE REAL SIDE TOO :0) Many thanks to THE BOTH OF YOU.

  • Thank You for making this vidio. Glad you are HAPPY. Support for our KIDS IS SO IMPORTANT! I SUPPORT ALL MY KIDS. This life IS HARD and with a POSITIVE ADDATUDE A person can have GREAT SELF ESTEEM and with that DREAMS DO COME TRUE. :0)

  • You are totally right. More people should be like you.

  • you look cute keep it up .

  • +++

  • AHAHA!!!

  • K THANKS.

  • big deal-i did a burnout in my car just yesterday and you don't hear me goin on about it!

  • Wait. Deemi, is that you?!! I love your music!!

  • I guess this is why they call this site " Youtube" ROFL XD

  • You are a great Mom! May all your prayers be answered, for the sake of your son.

    Guy

  • Thank you, Guy.

  • You're absolutely right. If you never try, you'll never succeed. We all need to learn to just go for it in life. And don't let a stumble or failure stop you. As long as it feels right in your heart keep marching on. And definately don't pay attention to the nay sayers.

  • That's really inspirational stuff. Your courage, tenacity, and love come through loud and clear. What a wonderful role model your son has. Keep up the great work. Amazing.

  • I appreciate that, peterfletcher38. Very cool of you to say. :)

  • ONE

  • YAWNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, for people who dont have any dreams, like YOU.

  • Running low on intelligence are we? How much of a loser do you have to be to post something like this?

  • your pretty. beautiful

  • Stop lying to your self! Why do you think Britney Spears was called the first virgin performer?he...he..yea that's what I thought...And if you get an answear then tell me why did no one else ever earned that name...

  • ok the post this was in response to must have been taken off or something.

  • wow u mad beautiful... congrads on ur achievments

  • good luck, you can live through your son :D

  • I wouldn't live through my son. He will most likely have different aspirations... and, again, I fully support them. Thank you for checkin' out the vid, utubehuh. :)

  • Make this video go away!!!! ca ca...!

  • I just realized your name. Curious... do you happen to be a fan of Pontiac Firehawks?

  • interesting... your Hot! obviosly intelligent! And you're an acheiver! Your the total package..mmmmm

  • stop rambling, this isnt a blog

  • well you are just a big insecure ...... poo poo head.

  • i am a mother of two beautiful girls. I totally understand about wanting to accomplish something so that your children can see you and be inspired by you. Keep setting that example for your son. I think the best thing a loving mother can do is lead by example to follow one's dreams. Go Girl!!!

  • You rock, jbluephoenix! Thank you for your positive words. Your girls are lucky to have a mom like you be aware of concept. You are also obviously proud of them. :) Yes! That's one huge lesson I learned as a mom... they follow what you do, not so much what you say. :)

  • u made a really big point there and i loved it :)

  • Ettubaby, yea that was vey inspireing in my opinion go fucking bunjee jump off a bridge and forget to tie the front end lame ass...anyways :D very good vid i enjoyed it :D:D

  • Your going to mess him up with all your insecurities and regrets. Playing at county fairs, and doing low budget slasher movies is not the pinnacle of fame, so stop saying that to yourself and just be a good mother to your son.

  • Fame was never mentioned, ettubaby. It's unfortunate you're so down about someone else's accomplishments. I'm a great mother to my son because I strive to be. He's proud of what I've done and that means more to me than your attempt to slam someone's spirit. :)

  • It clear that you desire fame, "All my life I..." that's which is fine, Some people need validation from absolute strangers and.. the money is good too, so nothing wrong there. It just seems sad, cuz you sorta are in the periphery but again you never know, that slasher movie might sell a million VHS tapes, and that is your kid anyways

  • Not sure how wanting something all my life = fame but my goal is not to understand your logic. That movie wasn't a "slasher" movie. It was spoof on a slasher flick. You're judging based on a 2:12 vid clip. I do appreciate the fact that you feel my life is important enough for you to continue to discuss it. :)

  • I wish you all the best to u and your son! Best of lucks...

  • The key is that feeling that you are a part of some other picture. Getting the pictures outta yer head and making it happen in "real" life..well, that's pretty empowering, yes? Isn't fame just the successful construction of a stable and consistent public persona...pretty hard to control...takes some big cojones!

  • Your a great parent, thanks for sharing =)

  • I am pursuing my dream of being a singer/actor because of this, I was borderline and on the fence, but now I think I will do it. If not for a little fun anyway. :)
