@Wiiman6905 yes for the electronics, but the bearings and other metal parts are nor, so you need to oil them with wd-40.

Dude if you really need a good lipo/nimh etc,batterycharger try triton2 equinox! I have one and it's lasted me for 4 years,not even one malfunction or screw up on the charging.

how long does this last on a 7 cell full charge? is the rustler vxl better?

@8antonyo if u use a stock charger about 4 hours (their is a led light that tells u when it is fully charged on the charger) The 2 trucks are extremely different. The slash is 4 wheel drive and bigger, the rustler is 2wd and has much better handling, but the slash is fun to drift and power slide. i like them both lol

The stock battery that came in mine is a dud. Lipos are the way to go anyways. Got three Tenergy 2S 35C Lipo packs and they are gold.

@dropkinn have fun, they r great, got to get a lipo though, the stock battery reaches around 30mph and if u change to the "speed" pinion i think u can reach 35-40mph

i had a bad experience with a lipo. and any way to get a good lipo and charger is like 160 bucks!

i jump it as fast as it could go all day on xmiss but nothing broke it in crazy. much stronger then the 2wd slash

yeah, i got the rustler vxl for xmas. i love it but i want a 4wd basher as well. might get the 1/16 scale slash vxl

@MrFowla34 Go with the 1/16 vxl revo, i have to say it is one of my favorite, its fast, extremely durable, parts and lipos are cheap for its small size, waterproof, traxxas quality and support, and since its electric it is easy to run and maintain. It can also do double backflips, frontflips, and standstill back/frontflips. I have heard that the slash is not as good, and u already have a full sized one, so it might get boring fast.

I would do that, the truck itself is a little expensive, but the lipos are only like $25-45 and parts are cheap
