paws shelter in Spain

Java is my dog!!! I knew it was her from her poor tail. i had a little cry at the picture of her, looking out the fence at freedom. She is very, very happily living in the north west of england with me. I've had her for a year now and she's made my life so happy.

I also have a rescue dog from Spain. Kenai comes from Ribercan in Carcaixent in Valencia. Missy heeft precies dezelfde kleuren als Kenai, maar zij is groter, kenai heeft de maat van een Jack Russel

@jamirohertje Ik heb wel een paar asielen in Valencia bezocht maar deze ken ik niet. Ik ga eens kijken wat ik erover kan vinden. Zelf heb ik sinds afgelopen oktober bijna precies hetzelfde hondje als Kenai....maar hij komt uit Albacette...precies tussen Valencia en Alicante in :-)

The dog at 3:45 is Java, i know she went to the U.K. She was one of my favortis.....such a sweetheart :-)

Poor babies. At 1.4 I see no toys just food dishes. At Christmas in the US I took 37toys to the local shelter.

They said they would save them for the dogs that got adopted and let new owners pick a toy. My answer was HELL NO! I want the dogs adopted or not to play with these toys or I will take them somewhere else. The new owners should buy their new pet their own toys.

The boredom in shelters is terrible. They agreed to give the animals caged alone the toys so they wouldn't fight over them.

I agree it's very sad for the dogs, the only toys they have are tennisballs and they are only allowed to play outside the kennels with the balls. In the kennels they could fight to protect their toy.

The picture with the food dishes i made when i was feeding the dogs.

But atleast they are save in the shelter, most off the dogs in this video were found along highways or abondoned in the woods and would die because they didn't have nothing to eat or drink :(

They always need volunteers because the shelter is always overloaded :(

My dog Missy ( you can see her in one of my older video's ) is coming from that shelter, i adopted her last year when i was working there :)
