I haven't played EVE seriously for over 1½ year, close to 2, actually, so I've missed all the WH bonanza, missing planets right now too, I think. @goodatlinerider Im with you on STO, its to cookie cutter, you have no freedom, no sandbox really. That was a long time ago (almost 2 years now!) filmed on the test server before it went live on the real server, We ended up just self destructing our selves to get since we didnt care =)

Give eve another chance, it really is a great game, it takes alot to get into (I did 3 trials myself before getting hooked) so keep trying, its worth it.

@Smurfkiller921 not quite. its the same basic concept, its just that wormholes are traversable, stable tunnels through space. take a sheet of peper, and label two points at opposite ends. fold the paper so the two points are touching, then imagine your ship going through those two points. You just jumped across all that space almsot instantaneously. In a very simple and un-complicated nutshell, thats how a wormhole or even "warp-drive" works.

I know the concept of a wormhole. But when I saw the video it didn't seem to take anywhere. But now I look carefully I can clearly see it did. I thought it was a black hole portrayed wrongly by the developers, seeing as black holes would destroy you before you even went in.

In the time between the release of wormholes and today, do you know of any corps that have been founded that explore wormholes and establish LARGE systems of PoS or something? Are there really rare minerals in W-Hole Space? That is cool. A while ago they had a special where they sent out all these Zephyrs that the Sleepers ignored. it was cool, i sold mine for 20mil a day after it came out and got my drake. I know it was probably stupid but i needed the money. My friend got his drake th same day

I've heard of people setting up base in wormholes. Wormholes don't always stay in one place, so the guys said sometimes they go out and they'll be 40 or so jumps away from where they were last. Its like living in Marry Poppins' magic bag. It's awesome. They make about 3 tril. Isk a week off of all the pirates and whatever else.

@M3iscool: no, the WH systems themselves stay where they are, but the entrances close, depending on kind every 16/24/48 hours and respawn to different systems.

*I once had a WH that led from Dodixie to Jita, the next day it was gone since I abbused of it to carry 2 freighters of stuff through :P

@thefattestman22: Depens on the class of the wormhole. a BC can solo a Class 1 or even Class 2 i think, a Batteship can solo up to class 3, 4 if ubertanked. Everything above isn't soloable AFAIK.

EVE Is mostly centered arround PvP (or PewPew :P), be it by shooting people, beat someone while trading, or selling your mined ore or buildt ships at a lower price than someone else.

And (most) of the economy is entirely player run. Every ship and gun you see was at some moment built by some player.

The wrecks you get from sleepers when you salvage them are some of the materials needed for makeing a t3 ship,

Sleepers are a gang of ships that are like any other npc they see you they will try and kill you lol!.

The kronos however should be able to tank all the sleepers if it is fitted right. Plus Have some missile ships in with your fleet is handy as well missiles tend to kill npcs faster then rails do :D

On that bit about the Kronos tanking, it really depends on the class of Wormhole, class 1 & 2 should be fairly easy for it (I don't think BS's can even enter C1's) it can probably tank a class 3 too but C4-5-6 are different things altogether.

Also I think this vid was made against beta sleepers, they were made weaker when Apocrypha was finally released.

So called sleepers. They are the predecessors of the Jovians, so the WHs either lead to the milkyway, or to uncharted New Eden systems.

You have to kill them to build tech 3 ships.
