I am of the view that drugs did not in anyways enhance Gatlin, he has/had one of the most beautiful (nest to Cral Lewis) running styles I have ever seen, that long stride and 'interesting' arm swinging motion, he tested positive for excessive levels of testestosterone (a naturally occuring steroid), what is a shame is that now in his comeback he seems to have put on muscle (from NFL training I assume) and is no longer as graceful as he once, there's still time so hopefully he returns to form.

Dwain Chambers came back from a doping ban, even though he can't make a living from his sport. He was honest and admitted he took drugs, and now he's being castigated for it. Promoters won't invite him to their meets, despite him working up the courage to face up to his mistakes. He now speaks in schools and colleges as an anti-drugs spokesman.

well everyone.. Gatlin was tested negative or no drug during he ran 9.766s and equaled the world record. Yet he has been tested randomly earlier in the USA. Here now clearly show that everyone at top class have been taking the same just like Gatlin. so put all the comments about the drugs because it is now just one of the equipment to be a world class sprinter. the record isnt broken, they timed him and his time was 9:76,678 and they rounded it up to 9.77, asafa powell then did the same so it isnt broken, but it will soon :)

I think you'll find the American Anti Doping Organisation lets all the Americans off with doping. Look at all the 400m runners in the late 1990's and early 2000's who were allowed to carry on running even though they had tested positive. Young and Pettigrew to name but a few. 'Foreign' dope testing is just as good - but they ACTUALLY ban those who dope. Just look at Marion Jones. All the Americans are doing it.
