my old dog Zoey used to chase my dads truck up the road when we were heading into town, and she could run right up beside us even when we were driving at 40-60MPH!
I can understand the river bit, my black wolfdog would jump into our swimming pool after she had been exercising all day..;)
Unfo I am living in Shanghai at the moment, but in one, maybe 2 years time will move back to Europe, and am going to get a Dobe from Altobello most likely. (Maxim Di Altobello bloodline most likely - plus they allow cropping and docking)
@dezar18 I'm a dobermans fan but rotts are not fat dogs it depends how u feed them and most do not feed them right I have a huge 1 year old red doberman man that's a male and his name is red bull and is 85 pounds and 4 feet tall he's a beute
@PornFlakes21 I love those quirky characteristics...and sorry, I have a shedobe myself and I KNEW she was a girl but I figured since I saw everyone else calling her a boy I'd go along w/ it. :) She's gorgeous!
@thethunderbolts1 Im sorry but rottweilers are not better than a doberman. Rottweilers are much fatter heavier dogs doberman hands down is a way better looking and all around better dog

VERY AWESOME im so glad you do that with ur dogs, this is what EVERY dog needs in life... not to be hooked up on a chain fence cause you "think" they're gonna run away. that will just make them wanna run even more, if you give a dog the freedom it needs then they will never wanna leave your side :)

I agree best breed ever, my dobie looked liked he weighed nothing when he ran even tho he weighed 101 pounds. Looked like he was prancing, I love your dog. I cant wait to get another dobie.
@Eklysirhc The fastest I've seen her run is 37mph. In this video she got up to about 32 while we were running by the river. I started filming this AFTER we had been running in the back woods for awhile so she wasn't giving it her best.
This is what I've been needing to know! I run 5 miles a daily and am looking for a running partner. But, I don't want to their pads too much or their chronic hip issues. Could she do it? Looks like an American Dobe, as opposed to a Euro. Right or wrong?
@bladeimm She is an American Dobe. Dobermans have very high stamina as you can see in this video. She runs like the a greyhound & could run forever if I let her.
If you are worried about pad wear from pavement, you can get dog booties and special creams to keep the pads moist. We usually don't run her very far on pavement at high speeds because of the risk of tearing her pads open. As for hip issues, look for a reputable breeder who tests for hip displasia.
Is it a double gallop or a single gallop style.
