When I went on this at Disneyland, someone was taking flash photography on this ride and I heard. "No flash photography." "Sir in row 2, no flash photography." "Sir, put the camera away."  I remember that vividly.

Though they warn about fear of heights in the beginning, don't let it deter you away from the ride. I myself am terrified of heights and get vertigo, but I find this ride to be very peaceful and absolutely breathtaking. :)

Hands down, this is THE BEST feel good Disney ride ever! Would love if they had an extended version of the ride or even a series of travel spots e.g. Soaring Over Hawaii et. al. (But that's only wishful thinking.)

This ride is awesome!! You fly over San Fransisco, Redwood Creek, Napa Valley, Monterey Bay, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Palm Springs (I think), Camarillo, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego, Malibu, Los Angeles and Disneyland. Plus the smell of oranges is one of the best parts and it starts at day and ends at night.

Finally rode it yesterday and literally sobbed with joy. It was worth the 35-minute line (too late in the day to get Fastpasses)- heck, it was worth park-hopping into CA Adventure just to ride that! The only way for this video to come anywhere near to doing it justice would be to project it, in HD, in front of a swinglike chair with a fan blowing ocean smells at you- and even then, it couldn't compare.
