A democrate needs to win because I have noticed Republicans like to hide and seek and do things. Then when they are wrong they try every word in the dictionary to cover what they did.
If the US wanted Iraq and Iran's oil, they should have just said so. I would have supported a war based on an honest premise of needing a valuable, limited supply strategic resource. That's perfectly fine. What i cant stand is bare faced lying, and hiding behind noble words like Freedom and Liberation, which is rather like a man robbing you in an alley, and explaining to the police later that he was just inspecting your wallet for stolen credit cards.
Iraq was a bad idea. But the US can't just leave now. They got themselves into the mess and they should try to find the most peaceful way out. It is no business of the other Middle Eastern countries either. It's no business of the Europeans. I am sad to say the the UK however holds responsibility after the US.

The US cannot leave Iraq, they need it as a stepping stone into Iran. They cant NOT attack iran, because Iran has the other half of the oil reserve that they were after when they attacked iraq. Iraq only has half of it. The fact that the US handed over official management of the campaign in Afghanistan to Canada proves they have no legitimate purpose in the middle east, nor any desire to pursue one.
