That's not a very good point. If there is a prevailing theory that gets replaced by another modern one then all that means is that the previously prevailing theory was the best, yet flawed. Of course astro physics contains many theories. Just as evolution is just one theory in biology and cell theory another.
Science bases theories on facts and evidence. If you don't feel it's 'consistent', that can very well be due to a new development. Astro physics is a newer subject that everyone in the field are learning new things all the time. And with every big breakthrough the theory develops further.

If evidence is missing, or the govt hides info, that doesn't prove that aliens or "The Jews" control the govt & blew up the towers. If you don't know where a present came from, doesn't prove that Santa Clause exists. What you need to prove a claim is evidence that that claim is correct. What is your claim?

I won't dispute the usefulness of an excuse to go to war, but we know that it's not that hard to go to war, it does not necessitate a conspiracy of that magnitude.
