the mall doesn't open until 10 but the doors are open as early as 8. you can walk around with the stores closed or go to the Target. they open at 8. enjoy.

Forgot to say I ate at this mall about a year ago when on vacation.The area is nice buy my friend lives nearby and worries about crime all the time anyway.

I visited my friend a year ago.He lives pretty near the mall and hasn't gone on vacation coz he is worried about someone breaking into his house.He has it broken into once and 2 attempts were tried.He lives on Montair Ave.I used to live in Fountain Valley,yup borders on Santa Ana and Westminster,those towns full of gangs.

He doesn't need too worry. Nobody, will break into his house. Just have him call the lakewood sheriff's and they can send an officer out there periodically, too check on his house. Yep, santa and and westminster have gangs. But, lakewood doesn't really have any at all.

Yes he does worry coz his hearing isn't that good.I lived in Hunt.Bch and Fount Valley and we had a break in coz of the Vietnamese from Garden Grove and Westminster.They threw a rock thru a rear bedroom and our two neighbors like us were gone, perfect timing for those UFO's.

Lakewood is a good city, like I said there is barely any crime. But, probably where your friend lives, yeah, there is probably crime there. But, still lakewood isn't a bad city at all.
