@arthur1411 Yea. Pull out of the EU. Then we can all go back to paying £1.00/ gallon. £0.10 loaf of bread. And we shall only be taxed at 10% because we won`t have to fill EU coffers. And we can keep bent banannas, imperial measures and keep driving on the left hand side of the road. Oh, and beer will be £0.20 once again. Er...?
@arthur1411 It just seems to me that the British have an idealized view of our country. That pulling out of the EU will solve all our problems. I know a fella who is about to retire with a £50K pension pot, for eg. He`s thinking about retiring to Spain, and he votes UKIP. As part of the EU he would be entitled to do that, though he`d struggle. Out of the EU, that would be completely impossible. It would be similar to trying to retire to The States with £50K.
Ripping off the consumers for yet more "Government Iniciatives" is yet another tiresome ideal, it doesn't work, it's very costly to us and the only real beneficieries are the civil servants who are paid handsomely for createing and then solving these "problems"
Matthew Sinclair would make a good glove puppet.

Whenever anything about the EU is mentioned the BBC try to obscure it.
So in case you didn't hear it:
"The European Union Emissions Trading Scheme" (EU ETS) also known as the European Union Emissions Trading System.
I hope you've got deep pockets.

@arthur1411 Ironically enough, Sinclair only mentioned it to suggest that very few people have heard of EUETS

At the risk of sounding rude - it sounds like you've lost the plot.

The greenies stopped us from producing nuclear power plants hence we pay exorbitantly high costs.
