People, hes sober AND clean in this clip!!! He went to rehab and recovered in 1992. He was sober and clean 2 years in this vid, so stop assuming hes still on drugs. He was probably really nervous in this video, making him look hyper.

Yes he was sober but he was still learning how to do stand up while sober. You can see the beginnings of what he does today. He just is all over the place at this point. If you see him slowing down literally I can see parts of a monologue in it. It's all timing and delivery. Not saying it would have been his best monologue. No different than a new actor. Go back and see early films and now they are an oscar winner.

This past January you'll recall he talked about being sober for 15 years that weekend. (When he didn't want to make jokes about Britney) 15 years before 2008 was 1993, so if this show was in 1994 then he was newly sober!!!

Craig has said several times that he was 29 when he became sober and he turned 29 on 5-17-91, and it was the following February when he began rehab, 1992. So in 2007 he was 15 yrs sober. :)

@4aleksandra He was sober when he did this, and you never stop being an alcoholic. If you see him performing when he was full of substances you realise how much sobering up helped him as a performer. One of the best to come out of Scotland. Shame we went and ignored him and he buggered off really.
