It was picked by Willie with a Spanish tone, and made u feel the emotions that ray Charles and Willie portrayed by the man who died and his lady who could not bear to live without him. When u go off turning a great slower song that is sad into a fast two step happy song, the words just don't fit rite with it, all of the character is gone from the song. Buck I like the Fast Take on this Song when Troy Seals Wrote this Tune he also wrote it in a up Tempo Willie and Ray slowed it down which was also nice job think the song is good anyway you play it 5Stars Buck.

I agree it may be too fast. But I thought that Willie and Ray Prices version just drags. Anybody can do a song the way they want.

@Wdd4lif3 What happens I think is that not many can keep up with the way Willie plays it, so they go to the stand Texas Two Step rhythm and its too fast and it doesnt fit the song at all. The song is played in a much more Spanish style with a great deal more finger picking than just in the bridges.
