This game is shit though. When a game is challenging for almost no explanation, than it sucks. Your playing as the Silver Surfer a tough as fuck Marvel character. It's understandable if he may die in one hit for difficulty, but the fact that you can't touch the ceiling or floor on levels is just retarded. Imagine not having a turbo button dude? Contra did the right thing in giving you a hold for fast shooting option... this made you buy a NES Advantage or a MAX..
Another thing on firelord's stage it's all well and good that you have the 2 orbs shooting sideways for you, but what kind of game makes you get the powerups in other levels for you to even remotly have a chance at passing them... so many design flaws in the game it's unreal
A lot of the time i find the nerd doesn't really spot things as quickly, I played this game and beaten it. Wasn't easy, but just because it was over-challenging in some parts, doesn't make it a POS. Just like Castlevania 2, it might have been annoying and certainly inferior to Castlevania 1, but still good nonetheless.
The difficulty is insane. I've never seen a game like this. Like AVGN, I enjoy playing extremely difficult games and beating them. It shows you can do what very few others have done. One last complaint I have is that the sound effects are copied directly from Sky Shark, and Sky Shark was a much better game than this POS.

Yeah, i had this game as a kid, and i was able usualy to make it to a few final bosses, even though i rarely downed them. game kicked my ass and i never beat it, but i still enjoyed playing it. all about keeping powerups.

Why doesn't Galactus just get the damn device himself instead of sending Sir Diesalot Silver Surfer? Motherfucker. Eats. Planets. I'm sure he could handle ugly fish, jack o lanterns, and green top hats.

assumably the device in reference is the "ultimate nullifer" which has the ability to erase things from before they even existed.
For whatever reason, the purpose/name of the object was ommitted, weaking the already lack lust plot.

naw... if u watch *really* closely he does get hit! quite a bit... he was using a trainer... nicely played though, VERY hard to notice... like the angry nintendo nerd said this game truly is impossible...

Sure, you SAY it's not that hard, but is this your first run through this game? Unlikely. You probably played this a lot until you know what will come and when.

uve used a cheat, why did u circle the options for the areas in the way that you did at the start? also, why even though u have five F's are ur bullets not always flamed?

With this game, you better have an awfully good memory on EACH LEVEl--what enemies appear where and when, what surfaces kill you, enemy patterns etc... Oh and your timing better be perfect.
To do that, it probably took you many lives and a lot of frustration over the unforgiving-ness of this game.

Imagine not having a turbo button dude? Contra did the right thing in giving you a hold for fast shooting option... this made you buy a NES Advantage or a MAX..
Another thing on firelord's stage it's all well and good that you have the 2 orbs shooting sideways for you, but what kind of game makes you get the powerups in other levels for you to even remotly have a chance at passing them... so many design flaws in the game it's unreal

A lot of the time i find the nerd doesn't really spot things as quickly, I played this game and beaten it. Wasn't easy, but just because it was over-challenging in some parts, doesn't make it a POS. Just like Castlevania 2, it might have been annoying and certainly inferior to Castlevania 1, but still good nonetheless.

The difficulty is insane. I've never seen a game like this. Like AVGN, I enjoy playing extremely difficult games and beating them. It shows you can do what very few others have done. One last complaint I have is that the sound effects are copied directly from Sky Shark, and Sky Shark was a much better game than this POS.

Yeah, i had this game as a kid, and i was able usualy to make it to a few final bosses, even though i rarely downed them. game kicked my ass and i never beat it, but i still enjoyed playing it. all about keeping powerups.
so yeah, if you suck at a game it doesnt Always mean the game is broken.

It is a piece of shit, you don't know what you can touch or not. The bullets are camouflaged.
Either you used emulator's save state feature to record this(which I hope you did), or you spent ridiculously long amount of time to memorize all the level structure and pattern. A 'game' shouldn't be like this and it's totally not enjoyable in any way.

This game is extremely hard.
You basically MUST have a no death game. Because if you're stuck with the single shot in some of the other levels, you have no chance unless you completely memorize the level and have superior dodging skills.

Something makes me wonder if the nerd just picked up this game and said it was hard. But it was funny. I wont critisize you for not liking his video. Opinions will be opinions even if the game sucks or is good. Although, the ending could have been more exciting.
