  • IM GUESSING IT IS AN AUTOMATIC BY THE NUMBERS IT PUT DOWN. automatic dont put down as much hp as the 5 speeds. 285 isnt bad seeing how my buddies baseline was 260..

  • I've seen a Mach 1 with CAI and cat-back exhaust do 303 on a Mustang dyno, I'm sure if you do a few little tweaks here and there you can get a pretty vicious machine.

  • i like the spoiler delete. i have the same taste with that.

  • no disrespect but my moms car pulls around 245 or 260 her car might actually beat this Mach1 it beat my dads RSR Truck and it had 350/350hp

  • @ModMob

ya but lets see it corner like this car though lol

  • moms car is also a FWD V6 it probably could hahaah 04 Monte Carlo "Dale Earnhart Jr" edition

  • just because its fwd dosent mean it can corner better shocks have a lot to do with it too

  • why are we even talking about cornering?

  • because some kid said his moms car could kick this cars ass in a race

  • Actually if you read i said it MIGHT beat this car in a race..MIGHT

  • @ModMob this dude think his mom car actually make that to the wheels its prolly more like 200 to the wheels. my buddies 99 gt had full bolt ons and only made 198/ 240 tq i laughed at him..

  • @2003MACHWON Lol im aware of what it makes to the wheels. i made this comment like 1 year ago when i was ignorant

  • There is the problem the mustang dyno. I guarantee if you got on a dynojet you would be at 300rwp. Mustang dyno's are always lower by 10-20.

  • The thing is that mustang dyno apply some resistance to the wheels and the numbers it gives you are the numbers it gives it the power the car would make in the street, the dynojet doesn't its kinda freewheeling so numbers are higher.

  • Every Mach 1 is different...

I had one that only made 288 fully tuned, but my latest one made 310, so... you never know.

  • 285?? thats it

  • What should it have made? The car is rated at 305 Flywheel horsepower from the factory. Factor in a 10% drivetrain loss and you get 274.5 Rear wheel horsepower. Also take into consideration that this is on a Mustang Dyno, not a DynoJet. The car only has an o/r H-pipe, and a Bassani Catback in this video, and 1.5 degrees of timing. It was just about right on.

  • true true i guess never thought about it like that well that would make sense

  • its actually a 15% drivetrain loss on manuals and 20% on autos. though the hp rating is underated by ford for both the mach and the 03/04 cobra. the average dyno on youtube is about 270 rwhp. 270/.85=317 so the engine probably should be rated at about 320 hp rather than 305.

  • TREMEC claims 16% loss in 4th on the 3650, My stock '03 dyno'd at 288/311 on a 80' day.

If I knew then what I know now about the 3650's, I'd gotten the automatic.

  • @302mustangGT you can push the flywheel past the factory rating i am running a few bolt ons and am making 302 at the wheels with stock flywheel....no problems

  • Yeah what did you start with????

  • WTF??? what were your numbers man!?
