Tom is inebriated in his interpretations of I Miss You and Down. He may be showing his regret to how he ditched blink. Tom was good with blink because he had good back-up. AvA can't provide the same back-up blink did.

It is said that Tom hs known to burst into ters while singing this song. I believe that because of certain issues Tom will never be able to go back to blink. He has moved on. And when Tom sings 'I miss you' he's acknowledging how great blink was, and that he's sorry'. The song that follows is the adventure - showing that he has moved on and is writing music he loves. He is happy.

Every AvA cover i've seen, Tom would sing I miss you or Down. I think, or atcually, I pretty sure that he's reaching out to Mark and Travis. I'm guessing he's not that negative, but I would do anything just to have Blink 182 back. They were the best band ever. Deep down, I still have hope for Blink 182. They were the best thing that ever happened.

danefamous is right, his style is different, i like +44 more then ava, i heard that blink 182 is getting back at the 09 warped tour, and i think mark said on the radio that blink getting back together might happen, im not sure though, i think its kind of wierd that he is playing blink songs though, mark is to but if one only one of them could, i think it should be mark, because tom is the one that quit the band, and mark and travis couldve just replaced him and still could be blink 182

Tom is not the same at all.. i love blink and AVA and +44.. all the music Mark, Tom, & Travis create is amazing... but Tom is not the same Tom from blink... hes not the same Tom who wrote a song about fucking a dog or grandpa.. or the Tom that talked to chickens outside a recording studio.. even his style is changed.. ill get responses calling me an idiot or something but whatever... its true that he has changed completely....and i agree with others that blink 182 is the best and always will be, and ava and +44 will never live up to that. but i alwaso agree with that the past is the past, and now we have 2 great bands. but u have to understand that wat tom did was for the best of himself and his family.

tom wanted to spend more time with his family by changing the way blink did things. mark and travis didnt wan to, they had a huge fight and tom left. I've said it once and I'll continue to say it until these little teenie-boppers get off Tom's fuckin back. Tom, Mark and Travis all own the exclusive rights to every blink-182 song ever made and therefore they can do whatever they so please with those songs. Tom chose to do his own version of I Miss You, Down, and There Is (which he also owns the rights to). So it sounds different, so what? It's his right to do whatever he wants with the song.

Tom is inebriated in his interpretations of I Miss You and Down. He may be showing his regret to how he ditched blink. Tom was good with blink because he had good back-up. AvA can't provide the same back-up blink did.

(+44) is playing "What's My Age Again" on the Honda Civic Tour. I saw them on the 16th in Minneapolis and they played it. First time ever. It's only right that these guys keep blink alive and in due time they'll realize they are better off with each other than separately.

When you come out with a 10 song album and are expected to play 10-15 songs for a set you can't give Tom and AVA shit for playing blink-182 and Box Car Racer songs. They aren't going to play every song on their album and Tom has the rights to all blink-182 and BCR songs so he can do whatever he wants with them.....and (+44) is now playing "What's My Age Again" in concert.
