Papers are starting to come out on it on a regular basis now. Science had a whole issue dedicated to gut flora a few months back. It's interesting to note, that people are exposed to environmental toxins throughout their entire lives several magnitudes higher than they would ever get from a vaccination. What do you think that 'new car' smell is? It's formaldehyde. If you cook in an aluminum pot you will ingest far more aluminum than you would EVER get from a vaccination. It makes perfect sense to remove as much of this as possible from a newborns life. A small amount of something to a newborn is not the same as a small amount to an adult. It's true, a naive immune system is not as effective as an experienced immune system. Have you ever thought why that is? How exactly does an immune system GET experience? Simply put: exposure. And that's exactly what vaccines do.
If you count each multivalent vaccine (MMR=3) recommended by the Pediatric Association, it is over 200 doses by age 14.--& recently they started recommending a yearly flu shot for infants/children. Those of us over 50 have had exposure to flu variations over the years & so are at low risk for the H1N1. Most of the next generation won't have that privilege. Yeah, and interestingly, even when thimerosol was eliminated from vaccines rates of autism have remained unchanged. People who lack the capacity for critical thought are exploiting very rare side effects from vaccines to undermine the full truth about the efficacy of vaccines in general. And Horowitz, is a crook.

It's interesting to note, that people are exposed to environmental toxins throughout their entire lives several magnitudes higher than they would ever get from a vaccination. What do you think that 'new car' smell is? It's formaldehyde. If you cook in an aluminum pot you will ingest far more aluminum than you would EVER get from a vaccination. Man, science education in this country sucks bad.

It makes perfect sense to remove as much of this as possible from a newborns life. A small amount of something to a newborn is not the same as a small amount to an adult. Given the fact that their immune system takes time to build up immunity, hammering it as soon as they enter this life is definitely not the way to go. I read that something like the vaccination schedule for a newborn being like 14 doses of the regular vaccinations = something like 120 doses for a adult.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but my son is going to be given every chance to be healthy, I'm not leaving it up to profit motivated governments & pharmaceutical companies that apparently 'care' about my infant that they cannot even be held liable by law because of the 'in the pocket' system of corruption they have in place currently!

Yes, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but that does not inherently mean that anyone's opinion harbors any credibility. By claiming that undermines argument. Opinion has basis in facts and evidence, opinions have a basis in emotions too. Do each deserve equal credibility?

And if you really want to give your son every chance to be healthy, you are putting him at grave risk by not vaccinating, not too mention to public health. Scientific evidence shows that even under 'herd' immunity, the unimmunized can be reservoirs for mutations that even the immunized will not be protected against. Let me ask you this, what are the implications from the measles versus the apparent 'risk' in getting vaccinated against it? I urge you to seriously think that through.

How do you REALLY know that? What evidence do you have, scientific or anecdotal? Why do you believe that as fact?
It's true, a naive immune system is not as effective as an experienced immune system. Have you ever thought why that is? How exactly does an immune system GET experience? Simply put: exposure. And that's exactly what vaccines do.

If you count each multivalent vaccine (MMR=3) recommended by the Pediatric Association, it is over 200 doses by age 14.--& recently they started recommending a yearly flu shot for infants/children. Those of us over 50 have had exposure to flu variations over the years & so are at low risk for the H1N1. Most of the next generation won't have that privilege. Good thing you're listening to your own common sense & looking out for your son. Try reading Merck's vaccine disclosure literature--SCARY!

1 in every 150 children in the US have autism now, compared to 1 in every 10,000 in 1990. Many autistic children developed typically until they have adverse reactions to the MMR- a Merck vaccine. Go figure...

He definitely messed up.
The producers of "The Health Century" cut this from the final version because of the legal responsibility.
Needless to say some local television station (WGBH) wouldn't be able to afford lawsuits from Merck.
