  • oh wow i almost did this lol thank god for comments!!!!

  • this one time, at band camp, i watched my sub band director break my trumpet with WD-40.

  • expert village. more like spastic village

  • shes doing more harm than good

  • @steevojackass don't use valve oil for a trumpet it will stick even more.its like super glue

  • calm down everyone, yes you probably should just take it in, but people who do this professionally use a penetrating oil and tap on the slides. not saying this was a great video or explanation on how to properly fix it. WD-40 doesn't damage the brass if you use it properly. Obviously if you spray it all over the horn and let it sit, its going to ruin it. I don't like this video, but its not all wrong.

  • why would you use WD-40???? its a petroleum bi-product, meaning it corrodes (eats holes into) most soft metals (INCLUDING BRASS) and the sticking could also be from the metal expanding, meaning just play the trumpet a while, then pull the slides out and grease them with SLIDE grease

  • very gingerly tap the slides are u kidding me

  • @rupus77 Maybe a 5 pound sledge hammer would be good. lol

  • you never do this bring it to a shop or repair man NEVER PUT WD40 ON A TRUMPET IT WILL DISTROY THE LAQUER AND DESOLVE THE BRASS SLOWLY

  • WD-40? Really??? It's not like the lacquer on my trumpet matters or anything... lol

  • This is the most useless video ever. She is pretty much wrong on every level from start to finish. Wrong materials, wrong lube, bad technique, never even actually shows how to safely pull on a slide. If you ever see this woman near your horn just RUN and don't look back.

  • who thinks this video should be removed because some younger beginer may end up breaking here brass introment because of his stuped woman

  • @CloneReplicator342 This is typical "expert village" video.

  • what is it with this wonan and her malets

  • @TheClashMS Sorry man, didn't mean to vote your comment down. I thought it was voting the video down!

  • @steevojackass The "WD" in WD-40 stands for WATER DISPLACEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not penetrating oil!! It lubes, yes, but its not a penetrating oil. Penetrating oil is!! ITS FOR WATER DISPLACEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol, what about valve slide 2?

  • At 1:00 she is hesitant with the hammer. You NEVER use wd-40 on a trumpet.

  • Is this some stupid joke?

Does she have any real experience with a trumpet?

  • WD40? THATS GOING TO MESS UP THE TRUMPET AND MAKE THE PLAYER SICK!

  • @reggiebush49 Frick man now i ga get sick from doin this crap

  • Why did they put crap as this on YouTube?

  • "gingerly tap on the slide" lol

  • WD 40 is not good for brass!

  • @totosmeels I hope she NEVER goes near another instrument for any reason

  • WD40.........please this must be a Dream...I will wake up in a minute oh god she is HITTING the Trumpet....nightmare!

  • you are stupid. take this crap down before somebody wrecks their instrument.

  • omg !!!! Is this some kind of joke video?Careful with that hammer!!! WD40 oil OMG.

  • UHHHHHHHHHHH, the only thing that helps is what she said at the end, just take it to a repair shop, hahahaha

  • @JDJNA813 THEN take HER to a mental institute

  • you NEVER use a mallet or WD-40 on a horn! If your slide is stuck, take a rag, loop it around the end of the slide, and pull.

  • well that was helpful (not)

  • wow WD-40 I Use That on my bike not on my trumpet it cost 4 dollers for Maintenance and they do it the way you should

  • aw man...i dont really play and i used wd-40....
