gosh, people who know how to use cb,not even no swearing, people like them should come to my town and show the breakers here what good breakers are all about
I used to be on the CB dx channels back in the 80's. Had a ball and talked all over the World. I can still remember the names and call signs of some of the stations. I'm in Canada and I used a modified President Madison, Boomer and various antennas. I liked my homebrew 2-elm quad the best. Weekends were a lot of fun with all the dx-skeds we had setup. Hard to believe that it was almost thirty years ago. I got out of it around 1989/90. :)
True... There is very bad Surcomstanses for CB Now.. But in the other hand also for 10m and 20m and so on.. the only band where there is ok conditions now is 2m
there is all sorts of strange noise's at the moment, I am not sure where its coming from but I get it around 27.535 - 27.858 somtimes on 555 as well making any qso impossible
Yeah, there are rumors floating around here on the east coast that its CERN over in Switzerland or that its also a very wide spectrum radio that communicates with submarines thats located in the state Connecticut USA and one in Wales UK. I cant remember the name of that program.
but like I said, its just a rumor.
Also, is the vehicle in your video a Nissan? The seats and seatbelt look like thats in my Nissan Xterra.
In northern Ireland cb is dead. I have packed up my radios as I got bored of the silence years ago.

Any of you folks in the UK been getting crazy interference in skip?
Around here in the NE of USA we have been getting what sounds like an electrical engine being started up and running.
I talked skip with a guy in Iceland last week who said he could hear it early in the AM once as well.
