La guitarra Española se llama así por que lo es (también clásica y de flamenco) Anterior fue la medieval de diferente forma/sonido de 4-5 cuerdas popular en Italia y en España. Expertos artesanos en España construyeron la autentica guitarra; un instrumento mucho mas sofisticado y de sonido mucho mas variado y bello. Esa es la guitarra Española de 6 cuerdas y con una caja de fondo, forma y material diferente y con un método muy complicado para obtener el sonido de la guitarra.

Mas tarde se la modifico para crear una para concierto de música clásica de 8 cuerdas para el Maestro Manuel Segobia. Esta es una guitarra dificilisima de tocar. Requiere a un maestro or experto poder tocar una guitarra de 8 cuerdas.

@raulox17 ... flamenco no es Arabe para nada ya que los Gypsies estan por toda Europa y no son de origen Arabe. En la musica folk de todo el mundo hay siempre parecidos por el uso de instrumentos de cuerda etc pero que hayan parecidos no significa que sean influencias!

El flamenco por su arte y belleza ha cautivado a gentes de todas partes del mundo. @raulox17 700 anos dejan senales. te recomiendo que te eduques sin esterotipos. los cristianos o nativos espanoles estaban y continuan estando en Espana, tal y como siempre es. por supuesto que hay gente de raza mixta en Espana y descendientes de grupos ethnicos como sudamericanos, marroquies, rumanos etc. pero eso es asi en todos los paises ricos del oeste - se llama inmigracion. pero las gentes nativas y originales perduran siempre y sigen geneticamente presente.

I just came on here to listen to the Gypsy Kings. But the Christians did start it with their crusades. They rode down to the north part of Africa and told the arabs become Christian or die. The same thing they did to native Americans. So after awhile they would not stand for it and the arabs pushed back into Sicily and Spain especially Spain and occupied Spain for 400 years. The Moors were Arabic and Muslim, but from what I understand they were retaliating against the Christians.
