Thank you for your comment. That was the Japanese saw . It is unique and popular in Japan and very useful for cutting various kind of wood. I heard that many forign builder who come to Japan will buy it.  You can refer the Japanese saw at Wikipedia .

Great work! This is why outrigger canoes are so good. You can paddle for fitness, fish off them because they are stable, put a small motor on the iako or attach a sailing rig. So versatile. Love your work.

In England we put a strip of copper down the middle/centre of small boats and small watercraft, it's called a wear band, the copper band protects your boat when dragging it up and down the shore, a wear band will stop you from wearing a hole in the hull

YES, on the bottom side and edge of my canoe, I protected by thick epoxy coating and glass tape. I will try your way for future water craft. Thanks again !

Yes, I made it by myself. 1. Paste the Hawaian dress cloth on the wood paddle by glue.

2. Coating by clear cement 6 times, I used the cement for hand made lure.

I refered the some normal Sea Kayak plan and modified for outrigger canoe,

by making 1/20 paper model , sorry i do not have a plan now.... In japan, we can meet many home Kayak and Canoe builder . Recently it is getting popular for us !

I have a red Navarro canoe with nelson outriggers and a 2.5 hp. I do a lot of lake fishing in California. I told my canoing frends to look at your you tube vids. Keep posting your progress we will be checking it out. Keep fishing.
