im shocked AMS made no appearances all year at any time attack series with it, or that it is sold or wrecked. either way major let down for ams fans..
there was potential left in that car and the X will never come close to the times TA2 ran... you cant make the X come near the weight of TA2..... weight is the most important factor with time attack i think, "evo" x's are so overweight and top heavy... watching s2's and subi's smash on ams's time this year was tough
I guess you have not been following EVO X racing all that much. So far the our EVO X with just bolts on beat the GTR and won the Ulitimate street car competition from sport compact car. we also are putting up lap times far greater then an VIII or IX ever did on such few modifications. The X looks to not only be able to match what the VIII did on the track but possible BEAT IT.
Also TA2 never made it past the seam welding phase. we got tied up in too many projects. I think you are referring to TA1 and that car is alive and well kicking ass in the Caribbean. Its broken the track record on almost every Caribbean track it has raced on. just do a search on here for Summerbell TA1 and you will see a bunch of videos. With the small work we have done on a BONE STOCK LONG BLOCK I would say the EVO X is a pretty stout car. We will make a believer out of you yet ;)

Yes, TA1 is now based in Jamaica to be precise...and everybody is looking forward to the work AMS is doing to it to make sure it doesn't get beaten again! Go Summerbell and AMS!
I think that TAX can and will beat all times put down by TA1...if not we would not be building it. We are all about progression and with this car quite simply more is possibly. The chassis is WORLDS better then the EVO VIII/IX. We did not compete this past year in unlimited because we did not have a car to compete with.
at just bare chassis how does the weight of the evo 8 chassis compare to the weight of the evo 10 chassis?????? do you expect the final weight to be different than TA1??
