The Sestak Affair: Grounds for Impeachment? (Part 2)

I'm feeling shock and awe that Republicans have the utter gall to claim that because Sestak was offered a nonpaying job in exchange for dropping out of a race is an impeachable offense. After all the crimes, manipulations, lies and disasters of the Bush administration to try to make something of this, which is absolutely nothing boggles my mind. I can't tell you how much this disgusts me with them. How can anyone ever vote Republican and not have to take 4 or 5 showers a day?

KANE: “Were you ever offered a federal job to get out of this race?”

SESTAK: “Yes.”

KANE: “Was it secretary of the Navy?”

SESTAK: “No comment”

Later Kane asks again, “Was there a job offered to you by the White House?” to which Sestak nods and replies “yes, someone offered it.”

Kane asks “It was big right?” Sestak replies, “Let me ‘no comment’ on it.”

“Was it high-ranking?” Kane asked. Sestak said yes.

The White House version of the job offer tale is inconsistent with the original story Sestak told back in February.

Notice in February Sestak said he was offered a high ranking position by the White House but the latest version of the proposal was a non-paid advisory position offered by a former President. There is definitely a cover-up going on here and it stinks. The W.H. story isn't remotely believable and you did notice who they trotted out with the "fix"; the perjurer-in-chief!

@iamnormal1 i have a better question for you friend, how can you take everything the white house says as absolute truth and not question it? its such a High ranking position of power that no mater who is in office you have to question what they say.

@Bullett240 Oh, believe me, I do question all administrations. Sestak has not denied the WH version of events, and no evidence to the contrary exists that I'm aware of. OTOH, there was a plethora of evidence that Bush was a criminal and liar. Did you question him? Did you call for his impeachment for any of his violations of law and the Constitution?

@iamnormal1 people out there who think that just because obama is black and democrat after bush and the republicans jumped on a bandwagon and wont get off. they take without question the words that obama puts out and the acts that are done in his name as those done by a messiah.

no president, ever in our history, has had this much political power over the media and over how we as citizens treat each other. no president has caused more division or unrest in our nation.

@iamnormal1 and yet you and the majority of Americans sit by and dont question the words of the most powerful person in the country and the world. It doesnt matter WHO it is in that office, you have to question what they say and do. otherwise. power. corrupts. and in this case. it corrupts normal average americans who use the race card to descriminate those who do not support him.
