I've just checked and this recording is not availabe on CD (at any rate it doesn't show on the main shopping sites). How sad. This man (Binder) understood the drama contained in this amazing suite better than any of his colleagues. Listen to what he does from 3:38 up to 5:00. It's wonderful to be able to feel that there's blood inside the veins of whoever is playing. And it's the conductor's doing when it happens. This recording is to be treasured as a truly great moment in music.
