Racism is a bad thing, but sometimes people go too far in being "tolerant". It gets to the point where any mention of race at all is seen as a bad thing. It gets to the point where people's cultures are ignored in an attempt to be more tolerant. Saying that Barack Obama's race has an impact on his campaign isn't racist, it's true. Hanging a sign in a shop window saying, "Help Wanted -- No Irish need apply." is racist. It's good to know the difference.
