I main Link since 2,5 years and its right. DDD is definitely one of the hardest matchups for me. But not THE HARDEST. The hardest are Falco and Pit (for me).^^ Oh and what is the name of the song?

It's pretty tricky to pull off. You need to hit down or back to get off the edge then immediately double jump and use f-air while pushing forward to get back on the stage. It works much better if you jump with Y and use the C-stick to f-air. You have to time it very precisely or you'll only get one slash off and likely be punished.

It's called a ledge hop, works in every smash game.

Go back from the ledge, immediately jump and do an aerial of choice. For Link nair or fair are the best.

I have a hard time believing Izaw just didn't see the Gordo coming, but it was a shame. My guess was he threw the boomerang expecting it to block any Waddle Dees that might come out, saw DeDeDe throw something, and by the time the Gordo was visible Izaw had already inputted jumping and drawing the bow into the buffer system.

I wouldn't say tiers are a waste but yeah the tier list is very flawed. Its based off of tourny info which means all the unpopular characters will be placed lower because they aren't used as much. and then they overrate the high tier characters just because they win more tournys. Sure characters do have weakness' but saying so and so will lose to MK just because so and so's weakness is this and Mk has this is stupid.

Tiers aren't based only on tourney info. Its based on match ups. The character with the best match-ups will be top tiers. The tourney results only reflect match the match ups. The tier list isn't perfect. but it isn't as flawed as you may think. The characters with the most good match ups are top. and the character with the most bad match ups are bottom..

It has been determined that tiers do exist, it's just highly skilled players like this guy can take a low tier player and make it look like the highest tier due to his abilities to play the game extremely well. He knows what moves benefit him with link and which don't and along with his knowledge uses everything to his advantage. But tiers do exist, can't be ignorant about that. And you also gotta consider that some people pick up some characters better than others...
