dumbass, read the stipulations of the lighthouse preservation act. i was right on both accounts. your inability to read is not my problem. the lighthouses were available for purchase at no cost. the only stipulation was that the purchaser must show financial ability to maintain the property. now, if a lighthouse was not acquired by this means, they would auctioned off to the highest bidder. so in either case, peta would be buying the lighthouses.

Well, HTWW's argument that people are following is "Greenpeace paid the fair price for it.", which is true; they paid the established price. If you are correct, and the land PETA went for was free, then they too were paying the established price, which was nothing. Again, the argument is not about the price of the property, it's about the fact that PETA and Greenpeace were doing the same thing; obtaining property rights to government land through legal channels. Who cares how much they paid?

I have no problem with people who like animals or are vegans but they have ties with ALF and ELF (the animal and earth liberation fronts) which are known to firebomb labs where scientific research is conducted on animals.
