what is the point of devices like that?? most of the modern TV supports DVD divix mp3 pictures etc... just buy a removable hdd and hook it to the TV and that's it.. can't believe that there is people who prefer to make a networkd sharing system just not to hook a removable hdd to the TV..

It's cute how merging our TVs and computers/internet is still in its infancy, and we still need separate devices/peripherals like this. 5-10 years from now, TVs will have all of this built in, as default, and MUCH more. TVs will basically be full media centers by default...

There are already HDTVs which have a simple internet interface w/ an ethernet connection built right in... I think Samsung calls the feature "infolink".
