I recommend spending more than 5 minutes researching Ron Paul. He is a good man that cares about the founding principles of America, and he's been consistent on policy for 30+ years.

Ron Paul has never claimed that he started the teaparty movement. In fact he rejected it. A few of his supporters where among the founders of the teaparty.

Ron Paul simply supported Reagans message of economic freedom. He didn't agree with everything that his goverment ended up doing.
