  • The narrator's voice really makes me pissed

  • This is the think about B&M-

    1990-the early 2000's: Amazing!

    early 2000's- Now: Zzzzzzz....

  • @LegoThemeparkCrazy just like the wwe

  • every B&M coaster built is still standing, only one been deconstructed, and that was for relocation.

  • @ol987986 There have actually been 6 relocated.

  • @therideguide fair enough, but my point is that they are very well built :)

  • I have been on every b&m coaster coaster in spain england and the usa that stand atm ... im thirteen btw.

  • i told u all that b&m dominates, my dream is to design roller coasters, and i once wanted to design for intamin, but since i heard this stuff about b&m, i have a straight forward dream of becoming a roller coaster designer for b&m, and i have got plenty of ideas already.

  • @TheJedigir Same here except I am staying with Intamin on this one. They fit my design style and ride style better.

  • Im on the tech path in school taking principles o technology and physics next year i plan to be a rollercoaster engineer

  • I'm going on Nemesis on Wednesday, and I'm really looking forward to it.

  • What song is that at 3:10 and could you make a documentary about Zamperla and Gerstlauer please Thanks for the great videos

  • @TheInteractiveMedia Estacy of Gold, i only know that because Metallica opens all their concerts with that song :D

  • B&M is the best when it comes to smoothness and they are known for breaking down the least which i never herd of.

  • i have to say i personally like intamin better. my favorite intamin is the American Eagle at six flags great america. its one of their only wooden rollercoasters and its a great ride.

  • BnM is one of the worlds leading, greatest, and safest Coaster designers ever.

They not only have the record holder's for hundreds of rides but they have the most intense coaster for all you thrill seekers.

    Keep em coming.

  • B&M plays it safe intamin is the one who is crazy

  • To me, the best roller coaster manufacturer is Intamin. I've never been on a B&M though, but I probably will in about two weeks :). Maybe I will change my mind after that, but I think it will be hard to beat an Intamin Megacoaster.

  • you prolly have any roller coaster with the box shaoed track is b&m but i agree INtamin is more daring

  • I agree, B&M is the class of the roller coaster industry.

  • Hydra for the win

  • Actualy Europe is realy a continent of rollercoaster manufacturers: B&M as the best, vekoma, mack, gerstlauer, maurer sohne,...

We can be proud of it :)

  • Do not forget Intamin. :P

  • they are the record breakers so its hard to

  • I would say Vekoma is the best, but i'm Dutch so of course I say it!

    You forgot Zamperla.

  • We at the Ride-Guide love Vekoma's too and rather than look on their coasters as rough, we say they have character!!

  • Well, of course I also like B&M, but i've never been in any B&M rollercoaster, so till so far Vekoma is the best coaster manufacturer for me...

  • or Intamin...

  • Hihi. I understand your opinion. It's hard to say wich company is the best. Of course Vekoma is marketleader but I think their number of new installations is shrinking last years. 10, 15 or 20 years ago it was almost all Vekoma. Now constructors like Intamin, Gerstlauer, B&M and Maurer-Sohne are way more popular...

  • Yes, Vekoma really has to make new designs, but they're doing it good with Stingray and Hammerhead Stall.

  • @TristanAidan Vekomas are the jokes of the coaster community. Their rides are either extremely rough and uncomfortable like their SLCs or completely unreliable like their Flying Dutchmen.

  • Comment removed

  • Well thats one way of describing them, but we prefer to think of them as elegant, reliable and a mark of excellence.

  • Genuine fantastic coasters :)

  • well i have to say. i love expedition everest.

vekoma is a good company also.

i guess i like B&M for the roar of the inverts and the hypers are pretty dang fun

  • yess.... point being?

  • B&M are the best ride designers

  • The pictures made me laugh :D

  • B&M coasters are a joke. Vekoma kills B&M big time.

  • B&M coasters are good, but I'm a Vekoma man at heart.

  • B&M are the best coaster designers around

wat the hell are you riding

  • Intamin kicks ass!

  • B&M kics asses!!

  • Vekoma kicks ass!

  • name your fave. vekoma coaster

  • who me???

    whatever the hell I can!

  • The thing I love with B&M is because it is so smoooth and I dosen't bang my head :D

  • that's right B&M RULES vekoma has innovation , track layouts but really bad physical track curvature to tight turns or helix hence a bumpy ride.

  • B&M are my favourate coaster manufacturers i mean were would we be without the good old dive machine haha! :)

  • Thankyou so much for this documentary

I have i have learned much more now.

But I must say I do prefer Intamin and

    the best Gerstlauer!!

  • I know which song you refer to now. It was taken from a version of 'I wanna be the only one' by Eternal, I can't remember which mix it was though, sorry.

  • i wanna design roller coasters

  • Lol it's a bit funny when you find photos for certain words used, Like EMOTION or FINANCIAL DISABILITY. lol

  • In my opinion Intamin wins when it comes to innovation. But because Intamin tries new designs and new inversions, they become less reliable. (for example TTD). B&M may be less when it comes to innovation, but because of that their coasters are very reliable and trust worthy.

    Great video

  • I agree however, I feel B&M wins by default, because they have excellent rides in terms of reliability and smoothness, I simply love all B&M coasters with the exception of one, probably due to the fact that this coaster was old but is still relatively smooth compared to some vekoma's innovativeness is good but sometimes I feel that B&M is fine with it's current selection of ride types. I would be satisfied with another inverted like Montu, or an hyper like Goliath.

  • i think they're also smooth b/c they stick to the original design of coaster, and avoid new technology such as LIM's and LSM's, cable lifts, and magnetic brakes. They do fine-tune the older coaster design though.

  • Thanks Joey, it's nice isn't it!!

  • Your accent never fails to crack me up.

  • I assume you mean on the first part? The track that starts at 1:51 is 'The Ecstasy of Gold' by Ennio Morricone and the one before it is 'Pump It' by the Black Eyed peas, hope that answers your question.

  • good video (all 3 parts)! very educational.

Just wondering whats the name of the song that starts at 1:51? and the song before it?

  • song at 1:51 "The Ecstasy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone and the one before it is "Pump It" by the Black Eyed peas

  • sorry not the black eyed peas song but the little song inbetween which goes over the title, thanks :)
