Many have covered this beautiful ballad over the years, and some of those covers were fantastic (thinking Bobbie Gentry/Glen Campbell -also Jerry Butler/Betty Everett) but the original, sung by the Everlys, is beyond compare. Phil and Don, "without your sweet music, what would life be?" No Beatles, no Simon and Garfunkel, none of those classic country duets too numerous to mention..Just sayin!
