The TRUTH: Mubarak has been a USA and ISRAELY ally for 30 years, a murderer, a tortuerer of his own people. FOX news is trying to make him look like a good guy becasue he did the USA dirty work in that region. The reality is the media is being pressured to make Mubarak look good, and the revolution look bad. This is why Cooper is being criticized for calling out Mubarak the USA puppet
I dont know why i keep getting a strong impression of bloodlust from the cnn organization when it comes to this crisis. It seems like they could not be more anxious for a violent outcome, like they stand to gain something from that scenario. There is also an strong air of arrogance. i dont know if it from AC's "keeping them honest" slogan or just the way the network conveys the significance of its role in all this. Im not anti cnn, i watch this network more than any other. its just strange
Much respect Mr. Cooper. People Mr. Cooper was there and he saw what was happening with his own eyes. I respect him and thank him for supporting the truth.
حسني مبارك هو فرعون الحديثة. نحن في حاجة الى النبي موسى الجديدة لقتل هذا ابن العاهرة وعائلته وجميع مؤيديه. آمل أن يكون هذا القرف الكلب حروق في الجحيم.
@privatezib Is this a good quality tarnslation? (I copied and pasted it into Google Chrome & chose translate) Hosni Mubarak is the modern Pharaoh . We need a new Moses to kill this son of a bitch, his family and all his supporters .I hope that this will dog shit burns in hell.
Good show CA...but why not expose US lies as well...they say EG must change, but while they are saying that 'literally while their lips are moving, while they are saying this on TV' US war ships head to gulf, US keeps aid flowing to EG, US keeps telling OS that they want him...CA cover what's right under your nose.
Not sure the soldiers did search peaceful protesters did they? My understanding was that it was the peaceful protesters themselves that organised the searches to keep the violent factions out but that they were overwhelmed, although they later fought them off.
@ellieban The army has its official checkpoint while the peaceful protesters have a second round of searching closer to Tahrir Square. The pro-Mubarak thugs came in with their horses and camels and attacked the peaceful protesters at the edge of Tahrir Square. What everyone is asking is how did people coming on horses and camels get through army security or police security before even reaching Tahrir Square.
As far as I saw it here on YT, Mr. Cooper got into serious trouble with the thugs at one point while trying to do his job, which is to report close to authentic facts to us here in sweet wonderland. I guess, this probably was one igniting experience which turned his journalistic instincts on high alert and prompted him to find the right words. Bravo Mr. Cooper and good for CNN to finally starting to swing around. (or is there too much competition from Al Jazeera?!).
This will be a long fight. Suleiman true face will come to full light one day! Anderson Cooper is great doing his job.But mostly is educated people that listens to this reports! And its a shame that supposed educated rich countries play the Mubarak,Suleiman game. They will pay for this!
This man did an amazing job covering the uprise in Egypt, his own safety and the safety of his team were at stake and he was attacked twice !! and even after going back to America, he is still shedding the light on what's happening.
The cat's out of the bag- this is where American taxpayer dollars go, to brutal dictators. Don't wonder why there's anti-Americanism in the world,do something about it and demand that it stops.
despite the strong pressure from international community and the egyptian population, I sincerly don't think Mubarak is going to step down of the power like Ben ali did. He knows that if he get out if the power, the new Egyptian governement and INTERPOL will sue him so he has to escape. The only solution remain for him is to stay in the power until september (election). Once the election comes, he is going to do everything to make his party win so he can't be sue
what you need to do is do some research and read a little more about what's happining in egypt and what used to happend for the last 30 years !! do your homework before you accuse anyone of applying any agendas that don't exist. and then maybe then you'll find yourself pro-mubarak or somethign lol !!
@Canuckism101 , allow me say that you have no idea what are you talking about and you need to wake up !! there is no hidden agenda either from US or anyone else,,,that was purely the people move...just simple as that..these peopel didn't get paid from no one...they can't really pay over 80 million people !! what do you think lol !! so actually you're saying that the agenda paid the people to turn against the regime and now they can't control it..?? hmm...what a stupid agnda my smart friend !!!
FYI: The thugs were mostly released from prisons in different parts of the country. Some were moved from one city to another, while others were within the cities they had been jailed in. They were pay to loot, hurt, and pillage and blend in. This is no coincidence!
I hope USA comes around and sees Mubarak for what he is. An injustice is taking place in Egypt... I hope the American people can come together and help.. they sure need it.

I use Google translation too and encounter such problems !
I rephrased the subtitles so they can be easily understood by Arabs
Thanks for that video !

Excellent report, except for the bit about the Army taking sides.
That is not true, if the army had stepped in, the scene could've changed into an open war (between Egyptians) and it would've gotten even uglier.
They didn't take sides, they were forced to stay out of it for the sake of the greater good.
Excellent report, however, keep exposing this corrupt regime, DOWN WITH MUBARAK AND HIS REGIME! Up with FREEDOM! XD
