  • haha thats kool. he's a kool piper =)

  • That's funny. Even Jack Lee has those things happen to him. LOL.

  • Nothing worse than that - its happened to me a couple times...hooray for black hemp that doesnt shrink!

  • good on you great job

  • Great job jack I'll have to remind of you of this on tuesday and see if you can do it again =P

  • this is the ony thing Amazing Grace is good for. and yes I am a piper, and yes I am sick of getting requests for amazing grace every time I play.

  • how can you get sick of such a meaningful and powerful song such as it im never tired to play that song to anyone and i play the pipes to

  • its a cliche tune - i love it and will play it anytime someone asks, but it is overplayed, just like all the other cliche tunes like scotland the brave and barren rocks etc. all great tunes but they get overplayed...

  • I agree. Scotland the Brave, Amazing Grace, etc. all get played by every band at every performance. It's what people want to hear. It's like going to a Don McClean concert. It doesn't matter what he plays, nobody wants to hear anything except "American Pie".

Regardless, everytime I march to "Scotland..." my pulse quickens. And everytime the band plays "Amazing Grace" I enjoy it.

And yes, I'm a piper too.

  • Jack is a great guy, by the way. If you ever get the chance to see him, do. He comes out here to Maui every year and does a bagpipe workshop for our band. It's really a big help. He's a great teacher.

  • Funny

  • Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some 1920's trading cards of musical instruments, including the bagpipes.

  • lol verry funny!!!

playing amazing grace and drinking at the same time now thats talent :)

  • I would have liked to see him finish it, out of the vids on here this is the best rendition played on the pipes- thank you very much!

  • Yikes! Those are MY pipes!!! Too much pressure Jack!! Actually I hadn't gotten to practice in a couple days and the hemp on that thing was nice and dry. Heh, Came right outta there! That was at least as funny as I remember it!

  • haha, you da man jack!

  • lol

  • funny
