I have tried this and have trouble because my arms are so short compared to my torso; when I am in a cross legged seated position, my fingers touch the floor but not the rest of my hands. Any suggestions?
Awseome video! It's really important the thing you say : " do not lift up the left hand when you jump , because it's dangerous and not built strength"....you know, some of my teachers told me to do it....it' shameful
Hello, Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. The jump through is still challenging for me and I've been practicing Ashtanga for almost 3 yrs now.
I feel like my legs are too long to jump through with straight legs so I am still working on the cross legged version. I guess what matters at the end of the day is the the practice itself.. so beneficial and healing and the strength and stamina will follow with time. I will keep myself tuned in:) Namaste

I agree. Cross legs through will utilize the strength from the arms.

it is amazing how "natural" these jumps appear to be while watching at your video. Then I try myself and everything is different :)
Keep up the good work - I will keep on practising !
