A lot of people started playing Halo in the third installment, so the people that have been around since the beginning say that Either CE or 2 are best. Now that Reach is around, the large majority of players haven't really played 2, so they just say 3 is best.

WIth Reach all my friends are now competitive and our fun weird custom games are gone. While I enjoy reach and what it offers, i enjoyed Halo 3 much much more for the social gaming.

@Jxudo They already released a gametype with zero bloom and added bleedthrough, and it's already vastly superior to halo 3. all they have to do now is add toggles for aim acceleration and strafe acceleration and it'll be perfect.
