does anyone know what Virtual pc that can run windows 95/98 games that needs 3d acceleration? i tried Microsoft Virtual pc and VMware it doesnt work at all. i really want to play windows 95/98 games without finding old hardwares/pc to play it these days cos there's w95/98 that needs 3d accelaration games i haven't finished. anyone pliz help would be appreciate it.

@TechRocksForGood if you use a virtual drive like in the video , no, but if you set it up on an actual partition (like an actual drive letter) then it will format that partition

depends what NFS game you're playing, and if either win98/vmware supports the version of directx the NFS game uses

i have played some old NFS games on win98 with a different version of vmware then the one used in this video, cant remember the name.

oh and to play any 3d games at all, you better have a very good processor and graphics card

look off of a bottom or side of a laptop or computer that has a product sticker on it, try looking at the sides of the computer at the library. and you wont get fined $20000 lol

yeah, you have to install vmware tools in the virtual machine.

I've already installed that and it won't work, I can get it to 16 color mode and true color mode, but not 256 mode (which is what I need to run old sierra games)

No need to make an ISO. VMWare can also install an OS from a CD or DVD.

yeah, its one of the most reliable operating systems out there other than xp

win98 is fast, but it doesn't have as much compatibility as WinXP, im pretty sure theres cracks out there to run winxp apps on 98(im pretty sure if you try to run a winXP or higher app on a win98 you'll get the "This is not a valid Win32 application" error

you need your own product key, or you can go to the library, look at the sides of the computer, and get the key off that r u can use a generator
