  • i hope crowder does a similar video for his good buddy and mentor, andrew breitbart. i'll be waiting. kim jong il could be waiting at the gates of hell as ted kennedy ferries breitbart across the river styx. they could go inside, get super fucked up and hatch a scheme to film a video hit piece on god himself.

  • "Good ruck on the upcoming erections"

  • North Korea isn't communist you dumbass

  • @CommunistCritic um, yes... it is in name a communist country.

  • @jacintobandito Really dumbass? Why dont you look it up and do some honest research before you let pundits tell you about what is "true". They stopped being communist in 1972 and every real policy maker knows that.

  • @CommunistCritic thats why I said in name... do you understand what in name means... or are you an intellectual invalid? No need to throw insults around... regardless in name they are a communist country, I never said in policy.

  • @jacintobandito I know what you mean, and that is why I said they stopped calling themselves Communist in 1972. Their official state ideology is Juche or "self reliance", they dropped Marxist Leninism as their state ideology.

  • @CommunistCritic some dropped the name, but using the People's Republic of... still implies a communist regime, I am sure you know that with a name such as yours though.

  • @jacintobandito Democratic People's Republic...indeed usually means affiliation with some sort of collectivism. Which I am not saying that North Korea is *not* collectivist. They are. They are, however, not Marxist Leninist/Communist.

  • @CommunistCritic What would you call their form of government? Totalitarian Collectivism? They ARE marxist, its just another strain of marxism with a nationalist flavor to it, devoted to serving Koreans first and foremost. Its almost fascist, but all communism has an element of fascism to it, since both are collectivist, statist, ideologies.

  • @particle58 It is called Juche, dumbass.

"all communism has an element of fascism."

Communism, the liberation of the Proletariat. Fascism, the totalitarian power of the nationally and racially imposed state. Stay in school buddy.

  • @CommunistCritic I graduated champ. If you reread my post I described Juche. Its marxism with a strong sense of Korean nationalism. Thats why I compared it to fascism. I did not say they were one in the same. I simply meant that Communism and Fascism are similar because both are COLLECTIVIST and STATIST. Both are single party systems, both regard individual rights as meaningless, both put limits on property rights, and both require cooperation through coersion.

  • @particle58 Juche is not Marxism. Please go read some Marxian theory before you say the isolationist policies of racial superiority are Marxist.

BTW not all Communist systems have a single party, and in addition corporations and rich individuals under Fascism skyrocket. There are indeed "individual rights". If those are your parameters for Communism I guess most Capitalist countries are "Communist". As I can't think of one that doesn't put limits on private property, or use coercion.

  • @CommunistCritic Command and Control is the same thing as Central Planning. Juche is Marxism, read Kim Jong Il's "On the Juche Idea". All marxist philosophies share similar core values, but not all are exact replica's of one another as they are influenced by the culture and society that institutes them. You mentioned 3 'successful' socialist enterprises, that I actually laughed out loud at. You have a very limited understanding of the philosophy you seem to be in love with.

  • @particle58 I did not say they were successful I mentioned them as examples of societies that were Socialist and not centrally planned. Good one though?

  • @CommunistCritic The idea that communism is the liberation of the proletariat is RIDICULOUS. Sure, Marx may have said that in his essays, but in practice that is not the case at all. Marxism is really the enslavement of the proletariat. It requires a command and control economy with a powerful central government, that determines what is to be made, who is to make it, where it is to be made, and how it is to be distributed. All at the expense of the proletariat's labor.

  • @particle58 You are thinking of a Centrally planned economy. These are not strictly Marxist. You see them in everyday corporate life with the Board of Directors as the Central Committee and CEO as dictator.

Many successful Socialist enterprises have not been top-down, research Anarchist Catalonia or the Soviet Democracy before Lenin. Also look up the Free Territory of Ukraine.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore There was a second bailout, a massive one Obama signed and asked for.

  • You sound more like a black person then an asian

  • Steven I'm glad you're still un-PC enough to do this kind of humor

  • not funny whatsoever yetagain, but why couldn't you maybe have ronald reagan in hell instead of teddy, not that I like teddy either, but you are just so one-sided you can never even criticize anything about the rightwing because you can't upset your retarded fans and gotta stay good with the right or you might actually have to get a job other than making shitty youtube vids and kissing fox news's ass

  • @bojanks15 You are right. He should have parodied Reagan. Lord knows the millions of people Reagan starved to death or just outright murdered could have used a laugh.

  • [citation needed]

  • I love these videos I like your comedy :)

  • Lil Kim sounds like he learned Engrish from James Carville

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Not only do they engage in that, but also insider trading, as you probably know by now. But man, i tell you that what they say about conservatism couldn't be further from the truth. When it comes to economics, if you put equality above freedom you get niether. When you put freedom above equality, you dont get equality, but you get the closest thing to equality in a world that has and always will have inequality.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Well, that's what im trying to tell you. Corporate welfare is a product of big government and monopolies, not the free market, and the free market is at the core of conservative economic theory. It's not about greed when it comes to conservatism, it never has. The same people who hate conservatives (and that includes democrats and the republican moderate establishment) and say that we're about greed, turn around and engage in corporate favoratism.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Yea bush was wrong but the House @ senate were DEM controled. And Obama could have stoped it cause it wasent in law till obama was in office. And the failed simulas and the 75% of americans dont want his socilaist obama care.i think the congress and senate should have termlimits which is a tea party idea. And you sure got a lot to say but don't have the balls to say who you support pick a side or get out of the way.occupy's anti-capitalism views wont work

  • He was so ronery...

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore well cause they can be a monopoly too. they take up most the market the little software company's cant compete, just like big banks. And big banks are not the problem no bailouts with out Obama so who do u support? Like i said vote in people that want to change things the way you want if you have enough people behind you it can be done. But no you have no opion on a way to get out of it and occupy dosent have a chance cause they are union supported.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore you are a ron paul supporter huh lol my god so i guess we should break up apple, microsoft,GE, all in your mind is are monopoly's so what do you want a commie state where the goverment tells people how much they can make.If you don't like the way the goverment dose things.Get people in office like the tea party which have been the only ones that are really for small gov and unlike occupy its a real non-vilent group, but we will see in 20012 whos right

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Oh let me tell you a little hystory people were better americans when they had to make thier own way through life by them selfs it makes you a better person me and my parents didn't have alot of money so we got more jobs.

And the reason why people live longer and better is not cause a safey net its cause the medical info has jump far i the last 60 years.as for that bullshit about the military we should never cut them before the welfare state, unions

  • thumbs up if you actually wanted to see the comedy act!

  • love it.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore No you dont have to have one we went more then 200 years with out one.The right-wing aleast the tea party has been the only ones saying cut goverment spending Obama and his welfare state wanting pals.

  • this is genius

  • Dude, this is an instant classic! Great job. Had to watch it a few times.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Like I said, I am firmly against funneling money from the government to any bank or company. I am also firmly against ANY form of monopoly. Both government subsidizing and monopolies are contrary to free market principles. There is a difference between free market capitalism and crony capitalism, the latter of which relies on big government for substinance. Free market capitalism, in its purest form, leaves business to succeed or fail on its own.

  • @Texfield91 Right on. Agree totally.Furthermore, crony capitalism risks leading to political fascism as the government begins to tell industry what to do (GM, anyone?). And for the undereducated reading this comment I mean fascism in the 1930's political model in Italy before Mussolini did his deal with the devil and allied with the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany (Hitler :< )

  • @Siegetower Absolutly. What we have to do now is educate people on the difference between the free market and crony capitalism, because unfortunately a lot of folks think they are one in the same. They're not even close.

  • LAST VIDEO TAPE! *in desc: NE VIDEO EVERY THUrSDAY!

  • This is funny shit.. He and hitler are roomates..

  • Whaddup KJ, tell muhammed I said, "What's cook'n.....Oh wait, yall are, lol."

  • it was irevatable

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Furthermore, you have the choice to contribute to a corporation by deciding whether or not to buy its products. In closed shop states, you have no choice on whether or not to join a union or pay union dues. Being forced to join any organization is contrary to our founding and has to be changed.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore And you're one to talk about "talking points", you have leftist talking points coming out your ears. It's funny you folks dont talk about Big Government, which has grown larger and larger in the past century. The truth is it is YOU who support corporate welfare, because you cant have corporate welfare without bigger government (which you left wingers constantly push for), so take a long look in the mirror when you accuse someone of that crap.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Sir, you couldn't be more wrong. Conservatives, or so called "right wingers" vehemently oppose corporate welfare and the bank bailouts (if you knew anything about conservatism or the Tea Party, you would know that). We believe in the free market with as little government intervention as possible. Large or small, if you fail you fail. PERIOD. Both the Republican and the Democrat party establishment are the ones who support corporate welfare.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore reason being that should the government try to provide such a safety for all, e.g. obamacare attempts for health insurance, it will become a disaster. the government will, by force, compel all americans into welfare because the cost of it will cause the raising of taxes on all, forcing those who are rich to lay off employees to just break even, the middle class to fall under poverty, the lower middle class to become, possibly, destitute. The greatest form of welfare is jobs

  • and @1corpoaratekochwhore thank god you are against corporate welfare. its an affront to the american nation. But social welfare is bad news at least for right now. There is just no way right now to pay for an advanced safety net that targets the needy as the number of needy grow everyday. Unemployment numbers are expected to go on the rise again as "christmas clerk" jobs disappear. Many have also given up searching. However, paying the 20% of Americans in poverty line enough money is impossible

  • When last i checked, i was pretty sure that Steven Crowder is a conservative. If any liberals wish to watch his video, go right ahead. Its a free country. If you wanna talk shit on the comment thread for this vid, go right ahead, its a free country. But when you do, expect as much pushback as possible from the conservative wing, seeing as we actually share his opinions more often than you do and are always willing to defend them

  • you know?, I have always thought of Applebees as a "wantabee" Chilies! I am so glad to see that Steven thinks this way also. and YEAH! "upcoming erection" ref was well planned. Way to go Steven.

  • Wait, did Kim just wish Nancy Pelosi good luck with the "upcoming ERECTIONS" ?!

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Hey it was not my side that voted him in its the tea party that started the push for smaller goverment thats how you stop it change your vote just dont say Ron Paul lol The tea party is for flat tax and the fed gone. But the cry baby left and there free health care and other welfare state ideas will be gone in 2012

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore See thats funny you say that unions are not as big a problem as big corporations ha ha The unions give 89% of all thier donations to the left.Obama and his dumb ass little friends are whats wrong with the goverment

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Also, it's spelt CORPORATE koch whore, and no group of people are the bigger whores than union bosses and the literal whores of celebrities that support your liberal socialist policies.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Bill Maher is a joke who surrounds himself with people that agree with him and who thinks he's funny. The truth is he is so insignificant that he is less than an afterthought to most people, a man who has done nothing to make the world around him a better place but criticizes and slanders people who do, like Tim Tebow, because he knows that people like that dont care enough to respond to a pompous self important douche such as himself. It's pretty sad.

  • @Texfield91

Saying he surrounds himself with people who agree with him on his show is not a good argument. His audience are his fans and he has a panel of like 3-4 people+ he talks with and he also sometimes he brings in Republicans to debate with on said panel. He also does a lot for the Atheist community with his documentary "Religulous". I will admit he is a bit arrogant, but, for the most part he knows what hes talking about.

  • @The92Waffles Sir, how exactly does making a documentary that makes fun of people of faith help ANY community? Im talking about charity work, etc.

  • @Texfield91

I dont really see it as making fun of people with faith. He cracks jokes because hes a comedian. At the same time he shows the hypocrisy and craziness of all religion. I dont know if he donates to a charity or not, I would assume he does but, I'm not sure.

  • @1corpoaratekochwhore Oh yea, you are sooooo right. not. Bill Maher has to make these stupid faces to let his audience know he just made a joke. Most of the time Bill Maher is not funny.

  • ABB were Rumsfeld was high ranking shiped nuke reaktors to North Korea under Clinton.

  • North Koreans from birth to death believed he was a god. North Korea is worse than the Christian middle ages. It's undeniable that those people who "cried" for him actually believed he was a god. These people literally think that the food aid we send them is tribute to North Koreas glory, after all, we do inscribe "from your friend the U.S." in our shipments to them.

The new leader is young, maybe he will bring reforms, maybe not, but losing his power over a nuclear war he wouldn't dare.

  • i'm ronery, so ronery, i'm ronery and sadry arone...

  • @bigbob6556

If they were socialists, why wouldn't they call themselves socialists? Use your brain, bro, and read a book.

  • @HypotheticalRedness So there are retarded people like you in this world, Quit reading Mein Kamph and take a shower, filthy hippie.

  • @Supermassively Ah darn... You're right... and I didn't even mention big bob's grammar problems like I wanted to....

  • You a funny guy Steven!

  • I like that they properly located Ted "manslughter" Kennedy.

  • Funny stuff crowder...finally made me laugh. Get back to the documentaries! Do it!

  • unfunny, untalented.

  • "pongting pai ching Hans Brix mong-jing Satan a sudi ga."

Hans Brix and Satan? ah noooooo!!!! I'm in Hell!!!!!!

  • I'm convinced he turned into a cockroach and flew into outer space. Hope his forced to be wife lived to see him die.

  • I kear her cuz the tv was dirty...........hahahahahahah

  • @DarklingX Of course different situations warrant different tax-systems and -solutions, but nevertheless, a progressive tax code gives the lower part of society a much higher chance. In the US, you pay for your education and healthcare. That hits the poor much, much harder than the rich. The rich can easily have their children focus on their school, because they're certain they'll be able to afford it. If you denied the very wealthy their 5th house and gave that money to education, it'd be fair.

  • So unfunny. A new low, even for Crowder.

  • he sounds like mr. chow.

  • Another triumph from Hades.

To Pelosi " good luck with upcoming 'erections'

    Priceless 👍

  • Dear Dead Leader. Glad to hear from you and I can bear witness to all your sobbing supporters throughout your country. Funny thing tho, all those sobbers had no tears running down their cheeks. Even the kiddies had no tears. Someone forgot to cue the tears for the camera. Your propagandists are top notch otherwise.

  • too funny, merry christmas steven, best present to date! ha ha ha ha! hope stretch is next... crosses fingers, toes and eyes!

  • OMG, this is SOOOOO FUNNY!! NICE NICE!!

  • @Tcjunior18 How about this, liberal. Get a fucking job, get off welfare and unemployment, and grow up. Liberals are socialist, that simple.

  • Dont be a cunt bigbob. At least liberals don't sit back while we send troops over to protect poppy fields.

  • @bigbob6556 only in America. Everywhere else, liberal implies what we call Libertarians - anti fiscal and social regulation. Socialists are socialists - pro fiscal regulation and anti social regulation. I really wish the US could see past the one dimensional political scale.

As far as here goes, however, I agree with you. If you identify as a liberal you are a socialist. If a capitalist has socially liberal views, then they're a Libertarian.

  • @Zlangbartels

if only everyone saw the political spectrum was a quadrant, not a line :/

  • @Tcjunior18 actually... speculators drove up the gas prices. And all those bad loans sunk the housing market and oh guess who encouraged those loans when Bush asked 3 times to reform Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae? Yup, Obama, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd totally against reform. It might be fun to stick our heads in the sand and ignore the facts while posting our ignorance in all caps like a moron but where does that get you? Oh yea "CASE CLOSED" in your mind.

    THIS ISN'T OVER.

  • @Tcjunior18 my impersonation of you a liberal douche. LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME I TYPE IN ALL CAPS AND INSULT PEOPLE AND HAVE NO REAL POINT LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME. grow up learn some facts and wake the hell up.

  • @SaintLiam78 His entire life is based on music and video games.....you really expected more? LOL I enjoy his suffering, it completes me. ;)

  • @Tcjunior18 Posterboy for liberal doucheiness, YOU WIN!

  • @Elvishairdude89 Wait, have you ever eaten at an Applebee's? The only flavor most of the food has is the salt and pepper they dump on it.

  • Lol

  • Another great one, Steven. I look forward to your newest one each week. Keep up the great work young man. You are appreciated very much!!

  • 11 holes in one is nothing, the first time Chuck Norris golfed the balls ran for the holes out of fear!

  • So they now have flea erections in the DPRK not just in China?

  • LOL that laugh makes me laugh

  • This is how Leslie Chow Starts Hangover 3.

God bless Dr. Ken Jeong for his comedy.

  • haha this is amazing! loved the first vid u did with ol kimmy to

  • "upcoming erections"...... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !

  • Oh and their is a debate on taxes going on.. The only tax their should be is a flat tax.. One that is raised and lowered on everyone equally.. to do this? Their must be political will in congress to make cuts to the entitlement system.. The media will protect the left by going after anyone going after Medicaid/Medicare/SS.. making it political suicide to do so.. This has been going on for years, truth be told? The media is directly responsible for killing this country.

  • @Shaitan051 and the rest of you libs - Liberals use hypocrisy to justify their hypocrisy and then deny this thus proving their hypocrisy. Without hypocrisy the left wouldn't have shit.

  • Good ruck on the upcoming erections.

  • You are a legend sir!

  • "Chiri's" lol

"Good Ruck on the upcoming Erections" LMAO!

    Well done sir, well done.

  • Sorry Steven, but this is your worst video ever!...

  • LOL. Lib & atheist comments are Sooo Predictable: LIES & Foul Language.

Tragic that they actually believe that CRAP.

  • @3martijns please don't put atheists in with the dirty libs lol. I'm strongly conservative even though I'm not religious. And no...I'm not spiritual.

  • @Sturrmm I'm glad you got it partly right. You are an exception.

  • @Sturrmm Conservatives can come in all shapes and sizes.. I am devoutly Christian, but commonsense politically is commonsense.. As long as no one is bigoted in their beliefs and believes in freedom of religion, I am a ok with that

  • there waas a first one?

  • Thumbs up if you are gonna prepare for a "Homefront". Btw, don't travel to the Mississippi River. :)

  • lmao "up coming erections"

  • RIP Kim Jong Il and Happy Holidays!

  • Watch out for upcoming erections.

  • Nice!

  • @TheSlimshow277 Jong il says it right after the joke,

  • Merry Christmas!

  • "Wish you good luck on the upcoming erections"?

  • @TheSlimshow277 '....and den I kill her!!'

    hahahahaha...hahahahaha,,,,hahahahhaha....ehhhhhh.....

  • Vote for Obama once, I can forgive you. Vote for him again, you're a stupid fuck.

  • @bigbob6556

Your country only has 2 functioning parties. It's either Obama or whichever warmongering religious whack job manages make it to the top amongst the Republicans. Sure Obama hasn't done dick but at least with him you can feel safe the country will still be here when you wake up.

  • @Shaitan051 hey DUMBASS more troops have been sent during Obamas' admintrastion than during ALL 8 years of Bushs' I don't like Bush either but Obama has definitely bombed more countries than Bush did and done more war mongering than Bush did...stupid

  • @Shaitan051 Lol, dude, Obama is the lowest rated president in the history of the country. hes nearly 10% lower than carter, which was the lowest. He has been in office for 3 years and has done NOTHING.

  • @bigbob6556

I'll take Obama's nothing over all the lovely things his predecessor "accomplished" any day. It's a minor miracle Bush didn't leave north america a smoking crater.

  • @Shaitan051 You can talk as much shit about bush as you want, yet he still had higher ratings than obama. The economy officially failed when Obama got in office, not bush. Liberals concept's are stupid, they want to take the money away from the hard workers and give it to lazy fucks, nearly socialism.

  • @bigbob6556

Of course Bush had a higher rating he could violate Lincolns corpse on national tv and guys like you would still vote for him to keep "dem dirty liberal commies" out of office.

Meanwhile a lot of Obama's former backers are asking where the hell our change is. Personally I think Obama is a Republican plant, there's been no Change© but plenty of supporting Bush's policies.

  • @bigbob6556 Actually, the liberal goal is to tax the wealthy more than the poor, so that the poor will have access to basic things such as education and healthcare. Obviously, the wealthy should still have more disposable income than the poor, otherwise there would be no reason to become wealthy, but by taxing the rich more than the poor you ensure equal opportunity across the classes. Meaning, everyone has a very good shot at the American dream. Is that not positive?

  • @AsifIcarebear3 It all sounds good in theory but it hasn't ever turned out that way. The rich usually end up paying 90% of their salary and everyone ends up poor. But if there's a 10% tax all around then I have to pay a 100 dollars of taxes then someone who makes 100 times more money than me would have to pay 10000. It's all fair!

  • @Nationofhonor No, actually, it has worked quite well for a very long time. Granted, you can tax way too much - that's self-explanatory - but if you tax too little you don't give equal opportunity through things such as education throughout the society. If the wealthy don't contribute more than the poor, the poor peoples' children may not be able to afford education, even if they're very smart. With this model, everyone has a chance at success, if they have the skills. That's fair.

  • @AsifIcarebear3

Except that taxing someone just because they have more is a DISINCENTIVE to try and GET more.

For instance, say 250k is "rich" and below that is not, and tax rates are 10% below, and 25% above.

A married couple makes 220k a year, and one is offered a promotion with a substantial pay increase (now gets 250k).

The would now be paying 62k a year instead of 22k. They would officially be making LESS MONEY after getting a promotion.

I ask WHO wants to make less money for working hard?

  • @sabata2 As I originally said, of course the rich shouldn't end up with less than they would have, had they not had a high income. That's - as I said - self-explanatory. Your example can easily be avoided, if the tax system doesn't make large jumps. Instead of skipping from 22k to 62k, they should have experienced a soft curved increase in their taxes. Thus, they have more disposable income than they had before the promotion.

It's all common sense, and it results in equal opportunity.

  • @sabata2 Obama in a debate with Hillary Clinton was posed with the question, "both under Reagan and Clinton when capital gains taxes were reduced the result was MORE revenue, would you Senator Obama consider lowering the capital gains rate?" His answer was no, in the interest of "fairness" he would not lower the rate.. What does that tell us? He has ZERO interest in helping the poor.. More income would be better for redistribution would it not? He is a Marxist through and through

  • @sabata2 And to make matters even more transparent? The Democrats on a whole are not interested in getting poor people out of poverty.. Particularly in the inner cities.. The goal of the left is to bring America to the economic breaking point.. To do this, they must prevent at all costs growth of any kind.. What you will see is Obama allowing a tiny bit.. Only to be reelected and do exactly what Cloward, Piven, Alinski, Doran and Ayers have always wanted!

  • @sabata2 and that is to end America as we know it.. "We are going to fundamentally change America." translation? "We are going to end America."

  • @AsifIcarebear3 The Wealthy contribute far more than the poor, not being mean but it's fact. In our country everyone has an equal minimum starting line, if you're rich you're farther ahead if you are middle class or lower you start at the line, that's just our system and I think that's better than taxing the rich more which always leads to a collapse in the economy. Taxing the rich is just a political scheme anyways because the government can only tax income.

  • @AsifIcarebear3 If the Government only taxes income, all the poor people working their way up to being rich will never get there, and all the other rich people that are hard working will become poor as well. The Greedy evil rich people using loop-holes and political power will remain rich. This, as I said is all a huge political scheme to throw people out of power and make others ever-much richer. This is the way its always been and they way it shall always remain. You need to research more.

  • @Nationofhonor But the rich do not have just a small lead on the poor. They have a massive lead by leaps and bounds. In the USA, your parents' income have a large impact on your income, when you're adult. That's not social mobility. It's much easier to go from poor to rich in other countries, which provide healthcare and free education.

Government can't "only tax income", if you're talking about the transaction between employer and employee. Besides, taxing progressively would solve it anyway.

  • @AsifIcarebear3 But going back to my original point, it doesn't matter how far ahead the rich are, the whole thing is a scheme for power. If you start taxing the rich more, the rich will lose all their income and businesses will collapse destroying jobs. The only rich people left will be people like Soros and Obama. And yes taxing less would work, all we need to do is remove departments like the EPA which doesn't produce energy, and the UHAD which does nothing.

  • @Nationofhonor "If you start taxing the rich more, the rich will lose all their income and businesses will collapse destroying jobs"

You're talking as if I'm saying we need to tax the wealthy at 99%, which is obviously not my point at all. I'm merely saying that once you start earning the big money, and you have a ton of disposable income, you get taxed a little more than the ones below you; so that they to may benefit from things like healthcare and education.

  • @AsifIcarebear3 Surely you've hard of the Laffer Curve, and the non-intervention policies of Calvin Coolidge. They are 2 historical examples of where lowering tax rates actually increases the tax revenue, as more money staying in the economy provides for more people/taxpayers to be employed. The higher the tax rates, the less incentive there is to grow your business by making investments on new plant/licences/machinery. Why would business try to grow if they get no return back?

  • @Siegetower I am not aware of that, but I can easily imagine a situation where lowering the tax could increase tax revenue; if the tax is so high that it deters the people to reach that high level, of course it should be lowered. However, I'm convinced you don't think that this can be done indefinitely. This has been shown in the US for quite some years now.

I'm not arguing the tax code should be stupidly high. I'm merely saying that it makes sense for the % you pay to rise with your income.

  • @AsifIcarebear3 Ok so you're calling for 'progressive tax rates' (nothing to do with being politically progressive).

Lower tax rates can be implemented indefinately. If it's done smartly and theres a good balance. The problem is that the administrations after Laffer and Coolidge revert to the government being run by people no economic sense who immediately throw that balance out the window, again. So 30 years after Carter's mistakes were fixed, we're back with similar problems.

  • @Siegetower I'm not quite sure what you're saying or arguing here. Yes, you can implement very low tax rates, but I hold that it does not give a society which offers equal opportunity across the social classes.

Just out of curiosity, do you agree that a poor child should have access to things such as education, so that if that child is very intelligent - although not incredibly genius - he can educate himself and thus reach the American Dream? Because that's possible in other countries.

  • @AsifIcarebear3 I'm arguing that excessive taxation cripples the private economy - the same thing government wants to take money (tax!) from. Cripple the private economy, as Pres Obummer is doing like other progressives before him, you prevent the circumstances that eg grew the middle class in the first place, and allowed prosperity as we understand it to flourish in the 20th Century. There needs to be a balance between tax and free economy: My money is my money, yours is yours.

  • @Siegetower Are you actually arguing that Obama is a democrat? He's a republican from start to finish in his actions. He may talk as a progressive, but he isn't. He's lowered taxes across the board; including on the wealthy.

For the 5th time, yes, you need to find the balance between taxation and free economy, but the USA is clearly not there.

And yes, you can have too great a supply of educated people compared to the demand, but I have a sneaking suspicion the USA isn't there. At all.

  • @AsifIcarebear3 Ok lets agree to disagree. Your mind is closed. Nothing I can say seems to get you to think differently about anything.

    Peace and goodnight.

  • @Siegetower My mind isn't closed, and I don't understand how you would come to that conclusion. I've simply responded, corrected and argued my position. If my mind was closed I wouldn't have bothered even commenting in the first place.
